Bleaching hair on henna fail haha~

Heyaa bunnies
So I finally did it...I was super nervous even though I didn't know why cuz this isn't my first time..
I used this developer, I got two...just in case

And yes I almost used a whole bottle for the FIRST round... Glad I bought two..

And this bleach:
I did ask for help but stubborn lil me did it my own way🤣🤣 just how I can work yknow

I did not get rid more of the henna, I got many tips on that but just jumped right into the adventure LOL

So that was my starting point:
this is the shirt I always wore when applying henna bur that was a mistake...my neck burned like HELL.

Even though I only applied it on the lengths...the top was getting too light too soon while the lengths were still almost black.
Ari suggested to do the roots in the second round. I thought: ok but what if this middle part is turning too light?? It will be a pain in the ass to correct lengths and roots without touching the middle, so I decided to just go over my roots. I left it on 10-15 min but I guess 5-10min would have been enough..

Oh and to my question how bleach reacts on henna: It turns GREEN🤣🤣🤣🤷🏽‍♀️
Every normal person would be like "OH NOO I RUINED MY HAIR😭😭" ..

BUT I WAS HAPPY AF LOL...That's smth I can work with.. i knew it would turn out horrible the first time but I worried it will still be plain black and not work at all. So I was glad..

I just wonder why it is darker in the middle of the lengths?? The tips are lime green? Usually it should be darkest on tips cuz it contains most hairdye? Idk...
I just knew I will go over with bleach again but just lengths
I waited for my mum to finish food and she waited for me to finish dying my hair xDD luckily I've noticed..I waited half an hour and be like "how long do you need cooking? I want to continue" AND SHE WAS PUTTING PLANTS IN POTS😭🤷🏽‍♀️ This greenish colour was just too funny lol

So I went with the same bleach only over my lengths and lemme tell u..NOTHING HAPPENED:
maayybee it got a lil lighter but beside that it was still blue/green. I didn't wanna bleach again, so decided to just go over with my hairdye. I used this one last time going blonde and I loved it!!
but because of the greenish/blueish colour I wanted to add smth. The opposite colour of blue is yellow and from green is red...in this goldish blonde dye are probably yellow pigments in, so I decided to put reds in it too.
I looked through my mums hairdyes (since she is experimenting with her hair jst like me) and decided to add a little of this:
My hope was to end up with a lightbrown/blonde colour with a reddish hue...
I didn't even know if u could mix a mousse dye with a creme colour but I also never had blue hair,so🤣🤣🤣👍🏽
I was just doing it...hoping for the best...
my mum was freaking out for going over my hair a 3rd time..
"I am not going to f*ck my hair up out of solidarity to u" HAHA
while dying it I already saw the lengths turning brown where it was blue and the roots turning in a blondeish colour that I actually wanted..
I just hoped it wouldn't turn out too dark, otherwise bleaching it was kinda a waste🙈

Aaand...it's still green
I really like how the front part turned out lol
So obviously I am not finished yet but I will just pause this adventure here..

Not quite sure how I will continue🤔🤔

  1. I love the colour u dyed it at the end! I dyed my hair pink on a whim and hated it so I put head and shoulders dandruff shampoo in for 30 minutes before washing for a couple days and it was back to platinum blonde, so that might help?? I’ve never tried it on henna before tho ( ´_ゝ`)

    1. I tried using dandruff shampoo before dying it a couple weeks ago....I could try again before doing anything else but as u can see..there was still enough henna in hair to oxidate and turn blue...I will use and try it.

  2. Ahhhhh that's crazy tactic XD But I'm glad you were able to lighten up at least a little bit. It's easier to deal with browns than with straight black. I have never dyed my hair black cause I'm scared of how hard it would be to get rid of Dx Are you gonna wait a couple of weeks now before trying to lighten again?

    1. black is not that difficult..I went from jet black to blonde 2 years ago...the problem here is the henna. The metals from henna in the hair oxidated due to the peroxide in dye and bleach and turned the hair blue. The parts of hair that weren't dyed with too much henna turned out completely fine. I can only try to get rid of the metals. If nothing helps, I'll cut it off. Short hair looks cute on me xD
