cinnamon muffins with filling

 

Ah I love when it is good weather.

I wake up early, I feel good and productive..

I woke up at 7 today but chose to lay a little bit longer in bed until I stood up and ate breakfast around 8am.

After that I immediately went to making my muffins!

I first wanted to bake cookies, then when looking for recipes I saw cookies with jam on it..and then I felt like baking something with filling and ended up with wanting to make muffins.

In the shop is a box of chocolate that I absolutely looove which has a variety of different flavours and I wanted to use them as filling.

Since I have a bunch of cinnamon, and vanilla extrakt etc. leftover from the cinnamon toast rolls I did last time I wanted to do something with it again.

Plus, I just love cinnamon.

However I did not find a recipe that was close enough to my idea that I felt comfortable altering it the way I needed it :/

On thursday it then hit me with the bright idea...and I am not gonna apologize I am really addicted to it: I used ChatGPT for it haha.

I let it write a recipe for me <3

Those are the chocolates with truffles!

here at the back you can see the different flavours.

from coffee to nougat, vanilla and black currant..

I think they can be combined well with a cinnamon taste.

Here is the bowl with the flour, baking powder, pinch of salt, cinnamon and brown  sugar.

I mixed the egg in the bowl a bit before adding milk, melted butter, vanilla extract from last time and yogurt.

the yogurt is optional, I heard it the first time to put it in for moisture and I wanted to try it out.

I then poured it into the other bowl bit by bit while gently stirring.

I tried pushing the spoon against the walls of the bowl while stirring to be able to spread the yogurt bits a bit better...hmm

I then started preheating the oven to 180°C and decided to cut the chocolates into 1/4ths..I thought they might melt better this way for a filling and ChatGPT suggested as well.

I used a soup spoon full of the dough first to cover the bottom before adding the chocolates.

I also made three seperate ones without because my sister-in-law is allergic to it.

I used the white here to make it visible which ones are without

I tried my best to make it as neat as possible xD

I used each a spoon more on the ones without filling and depending on which ones needed more cover.

I put them in for 20 minutes and they seemed done when putting a toothpick in but I decided to turn it off and leave it in for a couple minutes more before taking them out and letting it cool for approx. 10 minutes in the cool air.

I then placed them on this tray to let them cool off a bit longer.

I wasn't able to try them yet since we are waiting for the family to come home and eat lunch but when I was licking off the spoon it was sooo good!!

I am sooo excited <3

recipe:

250g flour

2 tea spoon of baking powder

1 tea spoon of cinnamon

a pinch of salt

100g brown sugar

1 egg

180ml milk

80g melted butter

1 tea spoon of vanilla extract

100g yogurt or cream (optional)

a box of chocolate of your choice.

I love these productive days lol.

I cleaned the kitchen and went upstairs to my apartment, where I also took the trash out, did some laundry and cleaned the floor etc.

now there is a bit of time left before I have to start preparing lunch..I might use it to calm down a bit and read something or continue crocheting my top..

yaa I might continue crochet.

I also looked into my mailbox and found the nail charms I ordered like two months ago for my valentine set lmao.

They look super cute although I was surprised they were only 3 pieces, because most sets have 5 or 10. I looked at the listing and it even states 3 pieces.

I swear, do I sleep currently while ordering?

Today was a busy day.

I woke up pretty early and decided to eat breakfast with my mum.

I did some laundry and sorted my closet, I put winter stuff into my boxes and got some of my summer dresses out. I gave two of them to my mum now, they had already been a bit big on me before and I figured since I lost weight I should just forget it at this point haha.

Afterwards I went into the shower.

I decided to try the purple shampoo again but carefully this time.

Not from the back first, the back sucks up pigments too much, and I emulated it first and left it only for a couple seconds now.

It turned out very good!

It matted the yellowish color a bit, although I think I could have left it longer...but I was just scared to end up with a purple back again haha.

I received my Osha capes yesterday but couldn't take pics with it before.

Both were originally for almost 200€ and they had their capes for 80% off.

I got each for like 40€ now. That is such a steal!

And they are soooo incredibly beautiful.

Also now is the perfect weather for them!!

In winter they would be too cold but today it was "cool" but with sun and it had the perfect temperature.

Sometimes I like to put pretty stuff on my wishlists although I technically could never afford them because sometimes (not often) they would have a heavy sale when you need to take it then!

You have to be very patient though and not being too keen on really getting something.

It is just luck sometimes that it gets heavy on sale.

i.e. I also were lucky with a cashmere dress that was around 485€, I got it for 200€..

and my Love Moschino bag for ca.175€ that I got for 90€.

Technically they are still big prices if you have a low income but these are deals that I couldn't miss and the stuff always turns out to be SO GOOD.

Sometimes you gotta treat yourself.

But the deal with the capes now were like the best deal I had for a long time haha.

For the makeup I wanted some more intense colors today and used my Revolution x Mean girls palette.

the blonde hairxpink makeupxblue lenses-combo made me look like Barbie haha.

I used "the plastics" as a base, "obsessed" as shadowing on the outer corner and "I'm a mouse duh" on top of the lid.

I used "really pretty" to highlight the front of my eyes and my tearbags and "glen coco" to shadow the droop part on the bottom lash line, also as a guide for the bottom lashes and drew my namidabukuro line with it.

Little update on my dasique lipsticks:

the past few days I was able to try out my new shades from the water blur tint berry smoothie glosses that I have mentioned in this post.

The colors look really nice on the lips at first but I don't like them at all.

They dry out the lips incredibly fast and it loses the color instantly as soon as I put my lips on some glass or something, just licking it is forbidden haha.. I have to constantly reapply and if I did I preferred to do it just with my other gloss to give it more moisture.

It is a bummer because all the colors are super pretty when applied in the morning.

In motion is just a whole lot better to take the dimensions of the clothings..

I then went straight to pick up my friend to go into town.

The sun is so bright again, I had to pick out my glasses that were the perfect bonus for my outfit in the end..I did not want to take it off after this.

But I gotta admit, it gave me a vain bitch vibe HAHA.

We went to the hardware store first.

I want to craft something (I got a new idea lmao) and I wanted to look if I can find suitable supplies that will help me implement my idea.

I also looked for different spray cans to find a color that I might like on my mirror that I botched now with the acrylic haha.

After that we went to the northern part of town, where also our shopping centre is and looked into the dollar-shops for crafting material but they did not have that much I liked there, so I think it was good that we went to the hardware store..

I quickly went to Müller as well because my bodylotion is running empty...ending up paying too much again haha...but I tried controlling myself I swear.

And theeeen...we drove into the city centre, there is also one of the cheap shops I wanted to get some more hangers.

I got them a couple years ago from them (but online) and whenever I was in their shop I have seen that they still got them. They are in a pink velour that not only looks pretty in my open closet but it also prevents the clothing from sliding down that I really love.

AND THEY ARE CHEAP haha.

I suggested the night before to go eat in the burger house in the city centre that opened a long time ago but as always I am late haha. So I wanted to try it now cuz I also heard good stuff and my friend agreed.

After we checked it doesn't open before 5pm so we figured we spend more time in town.

We went to Thalia again and I saw a bunch of books for only 2,50€ and that's a super cheap price for books today haha.

They were in german and not my case but I took 4 of them home for my mum.

I haven't bought her a book for a while now.

I wanted to check inside but the english section (which is really small in our town anyway) did not have anything excitingly new for now.

My friend wanted to look at the manga when I saw a chinese book, which is in german of course and the table next to us had the hunger games books spread out and we talked about how in school we watched the movie and read the book etc, when their apprentice was joining suddenly: "YOU READ THE HUNGER GAMES AT SCHOOL?".

Me and my friend both were confused, turning around like "who's talking to us?" HAHAHA.

But we had a nice talk with her...22y.o., just a tad bit younger than us.

But she went to the other school, I figured over a while when talking to other ppl they had a really different and sometimes bizarre curriculum.

Germanys school system is so weird tbh.

We waited some more in the park and enjoyed the sun before going to eat<3

I chose the "hunter burger" with beef, mushrooms, onions and black forest bacon.

Salad as a side dish.

To drink I wanted to get out of my "comfort" zone and not get a coke zero again, so I opted for an icetea with wildberry flavour.

It pretty much only tasted like dextrose.

At least I now know I don't like it haha.

jk, it wasn't that bad..

my friend wanted the chickenburger with fries.

(also shoutout to her shirt that I noticed after that)

I also took a cup of cappucchino afterwards, like I usually like to get after a meal.

It was around that time that I got the message from my brother that their daughter was finally born after...35 hours (dios mío).

He told me though they had to stay in the delivery room and if I want to come over I had to go around 7pm.

Since it was just 6pm I figured it will be enough time to go tanning, I did not go this week.

I brought my friend home and helped getting her purchase (a bunch of heavy candles tho) to her apartment cuz that would have been a pain to open all the doors in the building etc.

We chatted a bit with her mother and I left for the studio.

I was kinda shocked after I was done it was already 7.20pm...visitors are only accepted until 8pm at the hospital!

A lil bit légere much from me whoah..

I did not think all of this would take me that long.

I don't feel safe posting pics from the baby online.

She is sooo smaaaaalll.

I am home now (obviously when writing this.)

My both parents just came from work when all of this happened and still did not have anything to eat...especially my dad was STRESSED cuz he had to come back home, shower, take the dog for a walk, put the dog back, pick up my grandparents and go to the hospital.

All in half an hour lmaooo. (I don't have to mention that this is impossible, do I?)

If I had known all of that I would have suggested to pick up my grandparents, I was there anyway and in the end I pretty much just "wasted" time to not be too quickly done.

I could have went to the hisalo the next day or smth but ah whatever.

I didn't know my dad had to do all of that.

I had a coffee with them and gave my mum her books.

So far she likes all of them, it looks like it is her taste.

This is the book I chose now.

I broke my rule and read what it is about *gasp*..

It sounded so exciting that I don't care now if it's in german...I just hope I can concentrate when reading...that's my issue with german literature.

I took some acetone for my nails because the other one is almost empty now and that's the color I picked for my mirror....Exciting to see what's coming out of it now haha.

I will do it in my garage sometime on the weekend or smth.

I wanted to get *just* bodylotion haha.

I had trouble deciding between this dove one and another dove with self-tanner in a similiar packaging but because I go tanning anyway and already use "real" self-tanner every now and then it felt quite ridiculous to me to get another selftanner lotion...I will try this one first.

I wasn't sure if I had the dove peeling in this scent so I just got it anyway...I pretty much just restock this peeling nonstop hahahahaha.

I saw online that apparently there are faaaar more scents??

Why we got only two? IN ALL SHOPS?

I was in LOVE with the treaclemoon showergel and I still love it but I wanted a new scent...maybe I will finish the other first idk.

I got this strawberry gelato now...super tasty scent.

They also had a huge variety of Barbie stuff...I had to hold myself tf up T.T

I opted for only the handcream now..

mine run empty and it was the cheapest item too lmao.

I also ordered two pair of sneakers on AliEx a couple days ago.

The month has just begun and I am already BROKE! 

Gotta take my makeup off now and relax a bit more <3.

new lenses

 

I wanted to make a light dolly makeup today with my new catrice peony palette.

The colors are soo light...they are not well pigmented unfortunately.

They barely show in the end :(

I should have left it..ah..

I also tried namidabukuro again..

I have a hate/love-relationship with it rly.

I received another AliEx package today.

My order I did is "almost" complete! xD

I have still some nail charms left but after that it all arrived now.

These were the gems I planned for my valentines look that did not make it on time but now I don't think that this was too bad...the color is a lot more brownish than red.

I like, that it's the correct sizes. The small ones are perfectly fine and the big ones are also not too big but still chunky enough to make a statement..I will see when I am able to use them

I also ordered some new lenses!

Hear me out:

The bubble blue lenses I got for like 20 bucks are exactly the same that are sold on AliEx etc. for just like 5...and I had no issues with them at all.

So I don't see why I shouldn't get any lenses for 1/4th of the price from the "source" than from some lenses shop. However don't take me as an example. If I f* up my eyes, that's my problem. I don't want to be responsible for anyone losing their eyesight or something bcuz they tried the same.

They both felt completely fine on my eyes.

Those are the swan lake blue and I feel like they are prob the most natural blue lenses I had for a while.

I like that they are in fact blue, but not that intense aquamarine kind of blue a lot of blue lenses have.

That's also the reason why I often opted for grey ones instead.

Like the bubble blue I own rn are a really intense blue but they are prob. the prettiest I had for a while now. I am not sure if I will like them much but at least I don't hate them.

I hate these tho! haha.

Those are the black swan grey and they make me feel like some sort of werewolf.

If you are into these kind of intense eyes they might be a good option but I don't see myself wearing them. It might work out with a dark makeup, to balance out the intensity a bit.

They are very cold tho.
