My dad started building the kitchen <33

The wall after yesterday evening..

He told me he had to go over it again to straighten it.

Now there was just too much missing in the wall and it was too "liquid" for it to hold properly.

after today morning.

He said it has to dry now for approx. two days but he can start putting the lower cupboards, measuring everything and start sewing the countertop.

There were also visitors at my brother, so we often were going from their apartments to mine, so the total "worktime" was not that much.

There are some difficulties that popped up and I still don't really get it tbh.

This is how it looks like so far.

So apparently some measurements must have been wrong from me planning because now the countertop is too far over the cupboards...You can't properly tell from this picture tho.

We still have to figure out where that mistake is coming from to fix it.

Also I had a logical mistake about the sink.

The sink used to be on the countertop left but I decided I rather want a bigger one right at the corner (where it is placed now).

The pipes are right there at the corner and I figured the sink is right next to it, so no problem?

What I did not think about is that the drain from the sink is on the right.

That means the pipes have to go all the way through the lower cupboard.

Itself not a big problem but that immediately excludes the possibility to use this lower space for something bigger.

It's just a lot of potential storage that is gone because of this.

These are these tiny details that you just don't think about haha.

I prepared mandarines, pear and camembert for me and my mum.

I was not hungry at all..we had so much food for today...

even this was too much already tbh haha.

I was spontaneously invited for tomorrow to go to Europapark with my cousin and her family!

Her boyfriend can't go because he is sick and they have a free ticket left.

I actually wanted to dye my hair tomorrow but welp, then on monday haha.

I am only worrying about the weather.

The weather report says it will be raining and I doubt you can go on many rollercoasters then...plus it will be kinda cold.

You don't get many chances to go somewhere for free, so of course we still go.

There are some rollercoasters that are inside and maybe it won't rain that much.
