nail design and new closet doors

yesterday I tried out my new products <33

Talk about full..I am curious where you hit the bottom then.

The acrylic is so much better to work with and the brush is amazing <3

But I am so not used to working with acrylic anymore.

Idk, I believe I just have too much liquid in the brush.

You can tell I was getting better.

The thumb is all bumby and the last nails are almost even.

BUT it is so thin, I need to figure out how big of a bead can cover an area again.

Here is after shaping. 

You can tell the layer was too thin, because the index finger is a bit see-through since I filed off too much.

Et voilá!

Honestly, although I LOVE the design, the glue I used for applying the rhinestones had some kind of reaction with the air, because it is matte and white around the stones now and looks pretty ugly.

I am devastated.

I used the golden paint gel for the nail art and I kinda love it, but the material has a thick viscosity which made it SUPER hard painting zebra with it.

Also the Acrylic gel is just another solid, it looked more liquidy online but nope I cannot use it for the what I originally wanted to use it for, that's why I used tip glue for the stones.

That's also why I had to use my old rubber gel for the middle finger.

everything else is too solid or too liquidy for that design.

Did you know how hard it is to draw french on a nail that is not on a finger?

I cannot for the love of god figure out how far down or up I have to draw the curve.

Well, in the evening my dad came over to install the doors.

It looks so clean now <3

Yes, I still have these slatted frames laying around, I might try to sell them.

Now I know it is not as easy as I thought it would be.

My couch and chair didn't get sold at all, luckily though, because I found new purposes for them lmao.

I did my mums nails today with the product and yea, it is 10x harder to work on short nails.

I literally cannot work on short nails apparently.

only the last 4 nails kinda worked out lmao.

I had to fix all the others like crazy, I hope they last T.T

so I wanted to post that I made a new layout and forgot about it haha.

So no, I am not "back in gyaru", it is like I said it is, I wear whatever I want and just get inspo from whatever. Just in case it comes across differently.

The old design just didn't vibe anymore.

Glad to change my profile pic as soon I got a proper one I like because I currently take none, so took this one with the wig and edited makeup on haha.

Honestly, I don't know why I never chose a pink/purple background for the columns??

It was always white or cream.

This is actually pretty cool haha.

And I also forgot I took pics yesterday.

Want to get back to outfit pics like I used to do.

Makeup like last time but without the eyeliner.

The lashes are just not intensive enough for that.

So I am waiting for my doors which get delivered today and used the morning to clean out my garage.

I had a bunch of cardboxes there from the last furnitures I got and it all the bags with old clothes.

So made some space.

My nail haul from lynis arrived <3

I think it is so funny how it got shipped haha.

All those cheap nail shops from AliEx or Shein pack all their bottles with so much wrapping and here the stuff just gets thrown in.

But then, it is shipping in the same country and not somewhere else.

I am not sure yet but I will probably work with acrylic as a base and do the design with polish on top and I never mastered a proper removal for it.

So definitely having to be able to do it.

My cleanser is getting empty, so immediately got a proper one.

The aceton remover and then there is this cuticle remover that I want to try out?

So I chose a nude instead of clear first, because I believe it will be easier for me to learn proper application and shaping when I can actually see it.

I can work with acrylic but it has always been a cheap one, so I am curious if it works better with a good one.

If that's the case I will choose acrylic as a base and get the other nudes as well, just like a clear one.

The glue gel is amazing - rebuy!

I also want something inbetween acrylic and gel, which is not too thick but also not too thin for my small rhinestones so I wanted to try out acrylic gel.

I also got two metallic gels, because I love metallic deco but I just cannot bother with the powders and sealing etc....this might solve this problem.

I got this bond as well now, because the primer I got from her a couple months ago burns like hell.

It stated on the bottle "acidic" but I had no clue what that actually meant.

I also got a dehydrator now, cause that's what I like working with.

Two top coats - gloss and matte, and nail oil.

Curious to try it out soon <3

I also talked with my friend, if she can be my hand model lmao.

So I will be doing some press-ons just for fun and she can model them when coming over haha.

She is not into beauty like I am, she is not wearing even makeup or anything, so won't be able to convince her to get some done BUT - she is willing to help this way.

She actually has pretty hands in my opinion.

Without wanting to sound weird, but her fingers are small and "clean", almost like those plastic hands HAHA...I would think she is a born hand model but we will see if I am right about that haha.

inspo day

 Heyaa,

it was a calm sunday.

I am not sure if I told you but I decided to make my sundays the "I do absolutely nothing"-days.

normally when I had time off, I still would do something...even if it is a hobby, or a workout or whatever.

Since I do nothing on sundays, I feel more energetic on the other days.

I felt like the body just needs at least one day to just rest...like, really rest.

Gonna keep you up how that works for me.

I played the piano today and I take back my prior statement.

idk what was going wrong the past days but today was fine, so it definitely is not the extra cm on my nails...luckily. I just had cramps in my hands I guess.

Next to playing the piano and eating and watching tv, I also scrolled a bit through pinterest.

SO, since I said I wanna do inspo posts like others do, here is what my scrolling looked like and what I am taking inspiration in.

This is like the perfect inbetween box braids and curly hair.

Probably will do something like that sometime but first I wanna practice the boxing a bit more.

I also enjoy looking at russian braiding, since I get the styling is more...typical caucasian?does that make sense?

I feel like no matter how I want to describe what I see, it will get out of my mouth terribly wrong. 

So I apologize in advance for my next sentence.

I love taking inspo from black people, but some hairstyles are just instinctively black and the russian braiders have more western influence in it.

I like braids but not every style black people do seems suitable for me.

I guess it is easier to just show:

For example they do these cornrows on top of the head with a ponytail in russia.

at least I see more content of russians doing this and barely black people braiding like this.

And the russians often make it straight.

However it will be a little tricky blending with the natural hair, if the hair is a lot shorter (like mine)

What I thought is, you could could do the bottom as box braids and close the braid more on the top, so that the length is straight. The top of the head is made like this then.

The problem with that is though, that I have to use as less hair as possible to not make it too thick.

I thought you could just straighten it, the same way you can straighten silicone wigs but last time I tried crocheting with invisible knots and wanted to straighten it, even on the lowest heat, it just burned, so now I am terrified of that happening lmao.

Some put pearls inbetween the braids and if I ever am able to cornrow, I will definitely do something like this haha.

But I cannot braid for the love of god...and I don't know how to teach me..

I watched sooo many videos teaching how to braid yourself but I can only braid down...not on the scalp.

I need a looot more practice.

I then saw this video of braiding tinsel into the box braids, it is called fantasy braid apparently and I LOVE IT. (I got an idea, more later).

I wasn't into twists but this picture might make me reconsider.

I also saw lots of pictures of cornrows on top of the head and the back curly or braided like this.

I don't like having big braids (like in the bead picture) or having cornrows without some hair in the front, if you get what I mean.

This is actually a cool idea, you have something inbetween. 

The way they braided some in the front to make a "fringe". It's genius.

I liked this picture too. Idk, I have a feeling it is a wig but it is laid so damn well, I am not sure haha.

I guess if you have open hair like this, it won't be too bad to have the hair braided to the back. Also since it is only braided on top it also looks great.

This color combo is absolutely amazing.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE neapolitan hair and I wish I could wear a variety of it some day.

So here is the idea: fantasy braids but with this color combo??

with pink tinsel or maybe gold. That would be amazing.

You could do boho braids out of it...maybe that would be even more awesome.

Absolutely lethal lash game.

I was wondering a lot about what my SIL does different.

I have been analyzing my lash sets ever since she started doing them for me.

Don't get me wrong, she herself said that she is not experienced and has never done sets like this anyway, so I don't want to sound ungrateful and the sets are getting better over time.

However, I am paying her full price for the sets, so I am on the same level like a regular customer for the sets and I am not as satisfied as I wish to be.

I am looking up the topic a whole lot more than her.

I am getting more and more hyped about this topic.

I even practiced isolation a bit more and guess what.

It works just fine with a curved tweezer.

I was doing the practicing with a straight one and that didn't work, so I thought it would be impossible but with curved tweezer it is actually easy.

I have been watching tutorials on diy lash sets and yes, it is "dangerous" but I am also not too inexperienced.

I worked with real glue before and didn't turn blind.

I have quite steady hands from applying the clusters and since isolation practice has been working well for me, I might actually try doing my own sets some day.

Yes it will take some hours but does anything else I do not take hours?

The lashes she uses are a whole lot better though than the ones I got from AliEx.

You could seriously feel the difference so I wanted to look up on the shop myself what kind of lashes get offered there and saw there was also a brow section.

And I entered another inspo hole.

It almost feels embarassing but I had no idea something called brow tints exist.

Whenever I saw a picture like that I THOUGHT ITS MICROBLADED.

brow tints also last like 3-6 weeks apparently??

So yea...I will also definitely do this.

I am so unhappy with my brows, I only feel good when they have makeup on.

This would be an amazing solution for me.

I watched this tutorial on youtube on how it is getting done and it looks like something I can definitely do.

I definitely have to something with beauty as a job.

I think my gal life isn't...gyaru, it is mostly just makeup and beauty.

That's why I probably like going back every now and then.

Like seriously most things I would love to wear, is not acceptable at my workplace.

I would probably need less clothes as well, since I am not going out.

I actually looked for some pretty sets with pants (omg yes, pants) that I will be able to wear as soon as I take customers.

Because honestly, I didn't think of it before but I chill at home with my pajamas...

I cannot take customers in pajamas.

I also don't want to make my pajamas dirty.

So yea, I will need some sets with pants but not too many dresses anymore.

This is a lot of text for a tiny point to make but you see where my thought train is going?

If just the thought of my new job makes me reconsider my wardrobe and shopping habits, what about the rest?

These boots start breaking apart and that's so sad, now I have to find some that are as similiar as possible because none will be as good as these lmao.

I was curious how my lash exte will look like with makeup makeup, so I tip-toed my way into it a little bit.

Since they are more fluffy than sharp like I used to wear, the makeup had to be softer.

So I opted for some kind of ane ageha meiku.

They changed the meitu app and you cannot take selfies with it anymore, just edit them.

At first I was mad, because I just want to take selfies with it but this way the result is way sharper??

I dislike this angle but had to take a pic of the makeup without why hair covering it lmao.

Today day at work was awful and boring, I left earlier.

I practiced the piano earlier and for a week maybe I am just so bad at it xD

Idk maybe it's because my nails have grown out too much.

At the same time I don't want to make them new now, want to do them before vacation.

I kinda also want long nails back...I really miss them.

It's either or unfortunately :/

Rest of shein haul

Heyy,

so I ordered my ikea doors now and I am going to throw up.

600€...just for doors...it's insane!!!

Well anyway, it had to be.

I also ordered another small haul from lynis nailshop.

I probably won't get most of my nail products from her.

I am still deciding between shellac4you or Karl Diamant.

So, I ordered most liquid stuff you could say and basics like some acrylics etc. because I saw it only on her shop the way I like it and some products are great, no question..

I wasn't happy with the colorgels and even though I will choose gel polish now, I was just not really satisfied with the colors I saw on her website.

You will see what I have ordered from her site as soon it arrives.

Now I did some maths and depending how many colors I will get it will probably take some more hundreds, more than expected.

However I will choose some "simple" colors I believe. The kind that get chosen over and over again and slowly start putting in some more I guess.

However the rest of my shein haul arrived!

I got some nail stuff, hair and travel things I always were too hesitant to get.

So first: shoes.

I only have heels and some heels you could say but when you go to the beach, you need some flat sandals. That's just how it is, so quickly had to get some.

I wanted to just try them on to see wether they feel like cutting in your skin (like many flip flops do).

They seem fine, I hope they are still comfortable wearing for a couple hours.

I had to get a new nail clipper and got 3! now in a set.

Just in case I break two more lmao.

I also saw a big clipper for gems etc. and I think that's amazing.

I always struggled to cut off my gems and I believe this will help.

I also got a new nail scissor and a led light to fix gems.

I put a gel remover in my cart, I loved this kind of product to remove my own gel.

I actually saw something similiar on shellac4you, so I might get theirs as well to use on clients.

I currently fix my white sneaker so I can finally wear them again and I actually threw out their shoelaces. They had these weird black stains on it that you couldn't get rid off.

I really liked the idea of having proper ribbon laces. I wasn't sure if the length is correct but I could not find longer ones. I took the whites out now to check and it could work but well...you know you start inserting them and suddenly they get super short.

I have to fix the white of the shoes first (had to let them fully dry the past days).

So excited <3

I noticed every time I travel (even if it is just for work or smth for a few days) I did not have any bags or smth and it always were a struggle carrying all the skincare bottles or shampoo etc, to the bathroom and back. There was literally no space in the bathroom.Or of yourse, they would be loose in the luggage...So I got these bags.

The one on the right can even be hung up somewhere on the wall as you can see.

I also like how the washbag on the left has a net on the bottom.

So if your shower bottles are still kinda wet, they can dry a little bit better. 

Maybe it will turn out a mistake but we will see haha.

I wanted to get a cooling bag for a while now and when going to croatia I want to take some water bottles to the beach, without them immediately turning hot.

And yes...the braiding hair!!

I thought for a long time what color to get haha but yea, it's gonna be blonde again with the platinum tips...that color was awesome.

The hair is actually quite soft for braiding hair. I like that.

It took so long for them to arrive now, that I might wait even longer to put them in, so they are almost fresh for vacation already lmao.

I am very excited to try again <3.

a lil shopping

Heyaa!

So today I had a day off but I still went to town because I had to get my car tested.

Luckily everything is ok and I passed without having fix something and get it re-tested.

That 30minutes just testing it had cost me 163€....it is insane.

Well I then went with my friend to town and the mall to look for a fathers gift.

And I did a little bit shopping again.

more a little later.

The original plan was to go to ikea in sindelfingen (drive is two hours) and get the doors for my closet but then I had a dream about getting the doors and realising I can't take them home because they are too big for my car, so when I woke up I texted my friend that original plans are canceled.

It sounds like I woke up from a nightmare LOL but yes... my smart ass forgot that I cannot fit 6 damn doors into my car. 

Well at least I realised before driving there.

I will now order them online but now again I cannot decide which ones to take.

We went to the asian restaurant in the mall and normally I take duck or my beloved bun bo nam bo but I felt like switching it up but didn't know what.

Most is just the same with different kind of meat and then I saw something called "Bun Nem"?

It was a great inbetween I guess haha.

It had the noodles and the fish sauce like in bun bo nam bo and instead of fried duck, it had fried summerrolls haha.

It was good, now I have another meal for switching it up.

Although I try not to buy too much and I certainly did last month, I could not resist getting something for my vacation next month (that I can totally not afford and my friend will probably have to hold the costs until I pay him back).

I just wanted some sunscreen and maybe a little tester shower gel but it was a little too small for my taste and smelled too good..so I got the whole package now lmao.

Everything with a tropical papaya theme haha.

Although I am not sure it will be warm enough.

We planned going to croatia and everyone warns me about how damn expensive it is now down there and now I am kinda scared.

And I found another cup...of course I had to take it haha.

It so super cute!!

I also received part of my shein order the last few days but I did not take pics and honestly I am too lazy for it now, so here are screenshots haha.

When sorting out my closet I realised I don't have any bikini left?

I then remembered they turned small and I had already threwn them away last year.

I go swimming so damn rarely that I basically did not repurchase bikinis.

And the ones that currently hit the market are insanely bad.

All the bottoms are literal thongs.

Even the normal bottoms are just...idk...uncomfortable to me.

So I wanted to get sets with shorts or skirts or smth.

This one was really cute.

The shorts are basically not for wearing in the water but idgaf...I definitely will.

Just like I said the panties are literal thongs at the back.

This one is so damn cute!!

It is coming with panties but the skirt is adorable.

Here also, the back of the panties are very thin.

Both are super pretty, so I at least have some to wear.

I probably will go back to looking for bikinis at the child section.

I did a couple years ago and they were the only proper bikinis ngl.

I ordered it too small but I hope I might find some again and give it another chance because whatever is on the market right now is hell.

Oh and this armrest came:

It's cute...definitely does it job.

I also get a little hyped right now for gyaru again.

But not in the oldschool type of way.

idk, I just like the glam and lifestyle.

Whenever I am not gyaru, I miss it.

As soon I am back, it makes me feel miserable.

It is a toxic love relationship haha.

Gyaru doesn't really suit me...

but not being gyaru also doesn't suit me.

Does that make sense? it probably doesn't haha.

I currently don't really have money to spend on new clothes or styling or whatever anyway.

But I see others posting just about inspiration or clothes they think are pretty and just anything else that they like.

I said a million times that I maybe should do that as well....and then I don't?

So yea, hope I will maybe start that.

sorting day 2

 Hellooo,

before I start showing you the endresult, look at the beautiful flowers from my mothers garden:

I walked past them when going for a walk with my dog and then when coming back went straight to sorting my other half of the room.

Two complete days of work, put into cleaning and sorting everything and that's the result of the other half of the room:

Could you believe how small the room looked when it still had a bed in it?

Could you believe how much I have thrown out to have the closet and half of this shelf empty now?

I put my stuff to the bottom, because technically I can use it, but won't be able to on clients (when I am going to take some in the future).

The two I left empty in the middle will be where I put my new products in.

But yea, this is just the future because first I need doors for my closet and new products+ A proper nail lamp and so on.

I can do my mums nails now without having to take all my stuff downstairs...this is awesome actually.

I am really really proud of how it looks like...the room is super pretty <3

Also maybe you can tell how I meant it with my desk now.

Usually the cabinet and the drawers are wide apart underneath the panel.

The panel is seperate, so you can place it wherever you want.

I still had to be able to open it underneath next to the shelf but wanted the desk panel touching the wall.

I actually have enough legroom there, placing the cabinet closer to the drawers and the desk still is stabilized enough.

You can tell a bit on the first picture by looking at the gap underneath the panel next to the wall.

My chair is blocking the view on the cabinet lmao.

I used my chair from the living room as a client chair and since there was this ugly white spot on the floor (that you can't get rid off because it's wallpaper dye or smth) I had to place a carpet there now..so I moved my little rose stool as well...the mirror will be gone after the doors of the closet will have mirrors in the middle but it can stay there for a while.

Now the space in front of my chimney in my living room is so empty T.T

I actually really liked the cute space...will definitely put smth similiar there again.

BUT the pro is, that now I can choose whatever color I want technically..

I don't have to match it with my stool anymore, if it makes sense?
