42lolita order

 

After waking up and eating breakfast I took a quick shower.

I don't want to wear makeup today or use any heat on my hair to give my skin and hair a break.

I needed to get to the post office until 12am to pick up my package from 42lolita I have told you about!

I had to pay customs now but that's fine.

I took the picture now after coming back, I wore my usual white sneakers I have been wearing the past weeks.

I was so excited opening up my package!

I made myself a coffee and started unpacking everything.

They included a tiny gift <3

so adorable!!!

Honestly this is such a great gift.

I don't like when they put in these plastic combs, hairties or these velcro hairstyling tools... most of the time they always end up in the trash!

But I actually wanted to get socks like these and technically you always need socks.

It's also unflashy, so it suitable to many kinds of tastes.

I think it's quite difficult putting flashy gifts in that the customer might dislike.

The package was getting quite big at the table, so I decided to switch to bedroom and unpack on my bed.

It was like unpacking little surprises each time.

I didn't read the description well enough it seems, because I expected only top and skirt.

However I received the whole set!!

The set is from Garden Cat.

I have seen it months ago at devilinspired but hesitated to buy.

I regret not buying it a lot and was searching for it for quite some time.

(there is another set from a different brand I regret not buying...maybe I'll find too or use the service at 42lolita to buy it for me)

little bow for the corset and necklace.

I wish the necklace was with a chain, but luckily it wasn't so difficult tying it at the back.

I guess this is the veil for the head. 

I have not figured out yet how to wear it but I have an idea!!!

I have some basic hairclips that I wanted to use to make DIY-hairclips when I was into hime gyaru a lot.

I could, technically, glue it on to make it easy to attach.

But since it is with embroidery, I don't want the clip to be seen too much.

I will look up if it's possible somehow (or I will just add pearls on it?).

The train for the back

I am not sure how this is called...it is a mix of apron and train haha.

I first was unsure how to wear it and had to look up the picture again to figure it out.

I tied it in the front and put the bands into the skirt to hide them.

the hairband that has super cute jewels on each side.

and then I finally took out the top and skirt.

There are different versions of this set and I have chosen the one with the long skirt and the corsage.

look at the glittery details of the skirt!!!

The top is so damn adorable!!

Here is a "casual" variant to wear the set-up:

There is a little gap at the back of the dress if I wear it like this.

Maybe because my torso is just too tall.

I felt comfortable cutting the tag now and wanted to wear the whole set with my pettycoat now.

I am not sure if the pettycoat I own matches that well but at least it doesn't look bad I think.

When I tell you: I wish I had help to get dressed for this haha.

It's so difficult to put everything on and it took me a while to figure out how I could do it on my own.

The most difficult thing was the train with the bow.

I decided I want to put it on the corset to cover the "gap" at the back.

It's almost impossible putting safety needles in ON YOUR OWN BACK.

I decided to put them on before putting the top on my body.

It made everything a lot tighter though and I almost ripped it.

I need a different solution...or just put one needle in, put on the top and secure only the other side while wearing....that might work.

It's only provisional to get a vision how it will look like.

It's not an actual outfit yet..but it looks super pretty right?

I was in the mood for more princessy looks, so I took my hime clothes (mostly Jesus Diamante) out of my boxes and hung them up in my closet.

I also took out of the closet some skirts that I haven't worn for ages.

Maybe I will get rid of them...one looks pretty rubbish by now, so I probably won't wear it anymore.

We are going to sit with the family in the afternoon, so I need to get up and see if I can help them prepare some things.
