second, it's time for celebration!

It's only my second month in sales and I already kicked revenue up enough to get profit from my commission.

It's an insane performance I made as a beginner.

My mum wasn't really excited when I told her how much I would get paid more now for this month :).

I guess that's because she doesn't understand how the commission table in sales works.

So basically the % you earn is not linear.

It doesn't mean if you sell x you get y and if you sell xx you get yy etc. ...

the curve is insanely high...AFTER you reach a certain amount.

Does that make sense?

So the fact that after just 2 months in, I already reached the breaking point is very optimistic.

It doesn't mean I get "just amount xy for the amount of work", it means I am very close to make a lot of money very quickly.

The goal is to reach the breaking point early in the month, so that everything you make afterwards is actually the bonus. I still have 3 days of work left in this month, the "little extra money" that didn't excite her could get "quite a different amount" pretty quickly.

I didn't have the chance to explain it properly to her, the thought just got in my head while I was in the shower, being disappointed she wasn't excited for me.

I am so happy about it, I was about to cry.

The hard work and the doubt is paying off.
