New Haaiirrr

 Heyaa Bunnies!!!

I wanna talk about MY NEW HAIRR

cuz it finaally happened. <3

Lemme just tell ya it wasn't easy but it was totally WORTH IT.
I saw this hairtutorial MONTHS ago and really liked the technique (also it looked like smth I could do,since I can't braid whatsoever..)

It looked easy...(oh boy was I wrong.)

Well I didn't want to go my other exte to waste (especially cuz they were *cough* expensive.)
So instead of getting a bundle, I just wanted to sew in my clip-ins.

Well, I wanted pink highlights so I bought another pack of hair and directions "flamingo pink"
washed it the day they arrived (u never know if anything is on them, especially when you want to dye them..)

turned out I only needed 1 and a half of them....
It was sooo bright, so I wanted to mix it with conditioner...
However, I had absolutely no conditioner left in the house (I currently don't use any, sorry)
Gotta have to go shopping some..
(the only conditioner I had was a foam one..)

Even tho I mixed it with conditioner..none of that is visible

That shit is bright af.
It is 100% not the color I wanted, however it's the color I needed.
Also..this direction dye is 100 times better than the headshot I had last time...

I thought my tools are going to arrive on monday but they already came in the mail on saturday!!
So I went to dye my hair right on saturday evening.
This is the dye...it's also the same from last time..
I only wanted to refresh te color to blend it in with the exte again..
because showering and saltwater striped off my pigments
before
afterwards

The next moorninggg.. I cutted the clips off and god I wish I did it the day before.
I thought I'll just "quickly" cut them off..NO, THIS SHIT TOOK ME AN HOUR.
Also I noticed with each pack (order) of exte, the clips were progressively sewed in better.
the last blonde ones that I dyed pink even got sewed in double.
(why I didn't cut them before? well, I thought I will try it in the hair before sewing them in but I didn't)
a buncha clipssss... the brown ones used to be white before they got dyed red and brown...
preparatioonsss...also before I started, I sorted them by size.
U can clearly see now that the ones that used to be red before have that reddish hue in it compared to the dark brown ones right next to them.
I started by sorting out the top part and the one around my face like she did in the tutorial, because I need to wear my hair in a bun for work.
But I left more hair out on the top...because my hair is thinner than hers, I worried that mine won't be able to cover them up well.
This is me trying to section my hair on the back of my hair..this...WAY TOO BIG.
It took me a couple times..
This looks better...

and from the side

putting the beads in was a TASK...honestly the sewing in wasn't that much of a problem..
The sectioning was a problem...definitely.
Also I felt like my beads were too small??
not to mention the tools were cheap from Amazon...you could tell..
The loop-kinda thing? it immediately ripped off when I tried putting too much hair on my bead..
not only had I to repair this tool a couple times during the day but it also ripped my hands bloody.
everything hurted. My head, my neck, my butt, my hands...
It took me 8 hours...8 fucking hours...
(I mean lunch and dinner was inbetween too but only for like 5-10 min. cuz I immediately went back to work)
I was praying this works out!!!
Imagine opening the sections you left out, just to find out that it doesn't blend after 8 hours of work...
I also didn't wanna cut bangs before but I was just dying to get bangs again
(I accidentally cutted them too short btw but nvm)
I was also meeting my friend after 3 fucking weeks..
I spend the whole dayyy on the haiir that I literally only could put my makeup on and immeditaely leave the house like wtfff...
but I absolut-fucking-ly love it

the next day I was experimenting a lil with hairstyles and this is my top fav rn <33

I did notice a couple mistakes I've done. I was also realising that with each row I was getting better and better at it. will I do it again? absolutely yes, but I will get other tools beforehand...
not gonna rip all of my hand again..
For now I want to use these exte as long as possible..
Lil spoiler: red is next...

30-Day Gyaru Challenge: A picture of something you want to do before you die

Heyaa Bunnies!

I wanted to write the next blog yesterday but was busy the whole day sewing in my exte (which will be my next post) and came back home late in the night.

Sorry I skipped Day 4...I didn't think I would crack in right on day 4 but the problem is that I never really make pictures of anything..

I checked everything. Snapchat, old folders...no pictures of ANY night.

So, even tho I could have wrote the post, I failed :))))

and yea, like I said...I was too busy for day 5.

DAY5: What do you love+dislike about GAL?

Is there anything I dislike? xDDD
I mean like yea, it can be high-maintenance AF...especially when you decide to go ultraaaa by dying hair, exte, nails, fashion, tan etc.
But I also like this high-maintenance thing?
I think if I dislike anything it's reallife..
cuz it hinders me sometimes to live my 24/7 gal life.
Y'know it's always that.
"I can't wear this nails cuz of work" "I am busy working and can't do makeup afterwards as well bcuz there is not enough time, so I have to go grocery shopping in lame clothes" etc.
That's usually why I try to find ways to look gal as often as possible...
for example my waiterkey had a Rilakkuma charm on it..
I also want to bejewel my car...at first I didn't want to make the effort because I thought I am going to sell this one and get a new one but turned out I am keep using it for another 2years+ maybe.
I also sewed in my exte now...I jsut feel more gal with them.

and well...it's the same things that makes me LOVE it...
The girly, glamourous kind of look...the creativity..
It's a lifetime project and I love that about.
I love dying hair, experimenting, shopping EVERYTHING.

DAY6: A picture of something
you want to do before you die

HMMM....I think it's mostly hair-related at this point.

I really want to have box braids or twisted braids at least once..
And I want to try half and half hair...not matter what color..
brown/blonde, blond/pink, brown/pink, purple/pink...I love them all.

Hawaiian Tropic: Sunless Tan

 Heyaa Bunnies!

Lizzie reminded me that I am still having a tanning section to groom xD
So, I actually wanted to post about this selftanner a couple days ago but forgot.
Just like the St.Moriz one, they have two colors: "light/medium" and "dark".
Obviously I got the dark one.

Price: 7,95€
Thickness:
The foam is very thin which makes it easy to apply. It also isn't sticky after you are done.

Colour:
The colour is a lighter brown with a green hue, so it will be a good choice for those who have a reddish/pink-tone skin.

Smell:
A neutral coconut scent? it is what it is...You don't smell much of it but it also doesn't have an unpleasant smell. Even after the tanner is done, usually selftanners smell really bad, but this one was quite tolerable.

Durability:
Unfortunately washes off very quickly.

Effectiveness:
It's giving a neutral color but it's not as "dark" as the other selftanners I have and considering it's washing off easily...It's a no from me.
(I applied it after having a fulltan again and it didn't change my colour at all anymore.)

Stickiness:
As already mentioned it is not sticky at all, which is very good in comparance to the other selftanners.

To be honest, all products from Hawaiian Tropics get hyped so much and I don't see why.
I got it because of that reason and it did not convince me at all.
It might be a good choice for someone with lighter skin though.
