Hellow!
the next few days I wasn't that active anymore, mostly because it was just getting a lot now.
I was getting tired and needed to rest some more.
I cannot really remember details here but I try to recall as best as possible xD
Day 17
In lunch break I went to get Ramen and it was so damn delicious.
Now looking at this picture I get super hungry ngl xD
I got batung for the lessons.
Another thing I got addicted to while staying over there.
My host promised me to go to hot pot, also because I just wanted to try it out once.
It was a fun experience and I believe making something for at home can be super fun.
Here people typically do Raclette for example for new years eve, which is from the idea similiar.
We received fruit to takeaway and that's when I noticed, while I stayed there I barely had fruits or vegetables. The meals you get at hawkers or restaurants barely have any.
Day 18
I wanted to go back to the chinese district to get some souvenirs for my family after school.
made this picture during lunch time.
This was the whole catch!
chocolates+ keychains+ a plushy for my niece and some more stuff for parents and grandparents.
I always wanted to have a bag like this and honestly I loved singapore so much, I wanted to commit to having one with singapore written on it.
The other bag was for my mother. I picked the design I thought she would appreciate most.
because I bought so much I was able to pick two balls from their mystery box.
Each color represented a gift you could receive.
the gifts I got!
I actually gave these to my friend.
She loved them haha.
There are two more things I haven't shown in my last posts.
I got these teas for my parents from the orchid garden.
They love drinking tea, especially with guests and I wanted to give them something special.
We have already tried one flavour and they are really good.
However most stuff was incredibly expensive.
I got that Mymelo shirt back in Sentosa in a souvenir shop and I still love wearing it.
I decided to get it in a big size to cover me like a dress.
It was the perfect size, exactly like I wanted it to fit me.
And of course, that evening I had to get...
Bao.
The HUGE one at the mall around the corner where my host lives.
These are so damn delicious.
I miss them every day haha.
My family usually does Manti, Pelmeni, Tschebureki or Piraschki, which are pretty much a similiar thing. Dough with filling.
Day 19
My teacher said my top looks like Batik and I didn't notice before but it does have similiarities.
For the evening my host wanted to go to the hawker with me.
I tell you, I have no idea what this dish was called again but she wanted me to try it.
In general a lot of the dishes looked weird in my eyes but were delicious.
Now when I look at the picture I am not sure how I ate it but I remember I liked it xD
