Day 21: Last day in the airport+ arriving home

 Hellow,

for my last day me and my host decided to go eat breakfast together.

she suggested this soup place and although she wanted to pick something less spicy for me, it was soo damn spicy.

I tried eating as much as possible but at some point I just couldn't.

I felt a lil bit bad, I didn't want to come off as unappreciative, I couldn't handle the spiciness.

After coming back I packed my stuff and the transfer was there then.

I wanted to be picked up at around lunch time, so I can have enough time to explore the airport.

I haven't done that yet and I wanted to see the waterfall.

I expected the waterfall to be at the airport because you constantly see it online but guess what?

It is at a MALL (yes, again), which is right next to the airport.

There wasn't much to see.

Honestly, if I knew....I wouldn't have put my luggage somewhere to store.

I would have went in-> watch waterfall-> go back inside to give my luggage to the airport and then IF needed, put my bag away to some storage inside.

Now I spent money again which wasn't needed...I tried killing time at the mall there but just went earlier to get my luggage back.

Enough talk..here it is haha.

It was very beautiful.

In the upper level there is some "yard" or smth, idk how it was called again but here..
also just a waste of money.
It's a lil sidewalk with a few plants.
With kids it might make sense because they have placed to climb but as an adult/teenager
->don't.

as mentioned earlier, I went back to the airport to kill some more time there.
I kept looking for all the features they mentioned online but barely found something.

The sunflower "garden" for example, is a little balcony.

I was so sick from all the walking, so I went looking for the cinema.
Which also was at the other end of the airport.

I am glad I decided to just watch a movie.
It was relaxing that I actually did something for once beside just walking around and killing time.
Apparently there is also a swimming pool at the airport there but I have no clue where.
I feel like, If you actually know the places and where to go, you can plan accordingly but I for my part just wandered around with no orientation.
Not enough info on the internet+ChatGPT did not help.

I left the cinema a lil bit earlier before the movie ends because I was scared to come late to my gate.
But when I arrived they didn't open until like half an hour later :)
I was hungry so I got some food there at the Ya Kun Kaya Toast shop I have seen all over the place in Singapore.
Surpriiisee, it is SPICY T.T

I couldn't sleep in the airplane and watched movies and shows most of the time.

I skipped a night again.
When I arrived back in Frankfurt it was like a zombie town to me.
Suddenly, it was so quiet.
I was so happy seeing my parents again.

The view of the black forest....home. T.T
You wanna know what I did first?

DRIVING MY CAR XD
I just went for a lil trip. The freedom to get from A to B without a damn train is liberating.

The picture I received from my teacher from my class.
I can't remember all their names but it was surely an amazing time and wonderful memories I made there.
I do not regret it at all.

But more about it in my next post <3

xoxo rinmero
