Swatches

Hellow!!

So my friend got sick, so I stayed home tonight :/

But I was able to do the swatches from the colorgels..

Again, I chose colorgels because I thought they would be more practical because they come in a jar...because especially for nail art, I would always have trouble taking it out the bottle with the brush from my nail polishes..

I believed it would be better for storage as well..

plus they say colorgels are a lot better because they are better pigmented and whatever..

So here are the swatches:

I am gonna be 100% honest with you.

I hate them.

Not because the color themselves are not pretty...but because it is not better or easier.

It was absolute hell to open them because the sealing was SO DAMN GOOD, my thumb still hurts, I was covered in gel and just...no.

The viscosity is reaallly thick, working with it is so damn painful.

I tried going lighter, going twice with super thin layers, I went over the whole surface in all sorts of angles...It was almost impossible to not get streaks.

Not one actually looks good tbh.

Nude (3rd) and Milkshake (8th) were the easiest to apply.

I personally like the look of Light Satin (4th) despite the little streaks.

And here is the clicker: compared to my born pretty gel polishes in similiar colors...the intensity and pigmentation is the same.

It is not better as it was described.

I will just order polishes again like a normal person.

I believe the white and black can become handy for nail art, but fullcover it's a no from me.
