lash, more nail stuff and more yapping

Just when I was about to make just a yap post, the doorbell rang.

The rest of my AliEx order arrived.

There is a mix of nail stuff and personal stuff.

For example this clear mat for preventing everything to keep slipping.

I should have checked the measurements though...it is smaller than I thought.

Well, I let it go flat right now and then we will see if it works.

It came with these stickers and for now I will just leave them I guess.

I can still use them (I am just not sure how and that's why I leave them).

Also this golden plate. Now that I think of it, it sounds ridiculous but I felt like it helps me having my tools not just all over the desk. 

And as you can see, ALLLL OF THE BITS xD

They are actually too many and how come I don't have any taper barells? was I drunk ordering?

And the magnets...yes to cut the size equally.

I needed a new UV/LED lamp to cure my nails without having to hold something.

I am excited to try it out.

My new acrylic brushes..these are so much bigger! and soft, curious how much liquid they hold.

The dispenser though doesn't work...it is really bad.

And my lash stuff:

it looks actually more than it is.

Some new cleaning brushes (my old ones fall apart).

And well...you can see.

I want to use the stone in the middle to put glue on, since the rings I have are not handy for DIY-applications unfortunately.

The stickers below are to glue on top and then take off afterwards for easy cleaning.

The fan will help fasten the drying time but I felt like it can also work for hot days - so win/win.

This time I picked a different lash store and when I tell you, these are so soft.

There are so much better than all the other stiff ones I have gotten so far.

So it does matter which ones you order from AliEx.

I am actually really really excited to do my first set!

And yes some....wrong purchase?

I wanna try sewing my hair when I get to wear my wig...someday.

But this "yarn" turned out to be a...net or something?

And it smells...honestly Idk what this is.

I will probably find out and fall into another rabbit hole.

And now the yapping part.

I ordered some more polishes and I felt like I am almost ready to start and wanted to look unto insurances. I personally don't feel safe without.

Some women are crazy and it's not like you are handling harmless stuff, so I rather be on the safe side than getting big bills I can't pay.

Guess what, I need licenses to apply for insurances.

I don't need a license to do the business, but for insurance it is needed?

Well some courses are on the cheaper side and I guess it is not a bad thing to get schooled...makes it more professional...also it looks good framed on the wall ngl.

However when I was getting my lashes done by my SiL (still didn't tell her I will be doing my own now) she asked me about my business, because my mum told her...although I asked her not to tell anyone but I kinda knew that wouldn't work out.

I yapped about getting the stuff and so on and then she was like I was doing too much.

"You think the asian nail studios care about stuff like that?" and I am gonna be honest,

it feels kinda insulting.

Is it really that bad, to be on the safe side in this?

Like, I wanna do this great and want to be proud of this and if that means having proper stuff and getting all done first, then that's what it will be?

And honestly, who cares what the asians do? I have been there and the service was terrible.

I don't wanna be like them anyway?

At first it felt like I was going too slow and now it feels like everything is coming together now.

And still, I could have started earlier...Also wasn't the original plan to sell press-ons??

this plan excites me way more though so idk.

Maybe it's just part of the first doubts you get when starting such a thing but idk..

Sunday - Relax-day.

Here some inspo I gathered over the past days.

I found a new channel called Jenmarie Nails and her nail art is seriously bomb.

I am in love with the velvet cheetah idea.

And these two I picked up from Pinterest:

And, even though I always disliked it...I have been into locs lately..

This color combo is so sweet.

So my braids are really slipping down now, hanging on to dear life.

I probably can stretch it just a few more days.

I have seen someone use beads instead of rubberbands and that's such a cool idea.

I mean the reason mine are slipping down at the back is because the rubberbands snapped and there is a gap now that used to be tightly braided.

I have odered something from AliEx and Shein but it seems that everything gets delivered seperately.

So here is one of the 4 sets I ordered.

It sounds silly but I thought that when I will take clients I don't have clothes?

I only have pajamas more or less.

So yes...I ordered PANTS.

I want smth cozy but still put together? 

This set is soo see-through!!! but for the money it will work haha xD

But too thick I cannot put on the heels afterwards...damn it.

I can wear my flats tho lol.

I have just bleached my eyebrows and it is so weird during the process.

My brows end up having the same color like my skin, as if I have no brows at all lmao.

Now is the tint on and I have to get it off now..

Will tell you if that worked better or if the color is just too dark idk haha.

 Hello everyone!

Today just chilling and being with my family and then afternoon I did a new design.

This time just freestyling, giving a Lynn's taste.

I did no acrylic and shaping picture but technically except the gems and beads everything is acrylic.

Honestly I thought doing the french would take much longer but the gradient with the glitter was much harder (?).

Actually doing french with acrylic is so much faster lmao.

I wanted to do more acrylic to get a better feeling with working with it.

I was worried it would turn too thick after encapsulation but it's fine.

So I have been watching some videos.

This woman has such fascinating nail art videos.

Her opal video is also amazing but it seems like I didn't screenshot.

She always does these designs in so many layers.

I sometimes wonder if you would leave out just one of these, if it would actually actually matter.

Like some layers go under, so I highly doubt they are needed??

And of course a lot of bomb nail videos.

This one is insanely good!!

I decided to go for this design for my creations.

Before shaping and I forgot taking a picture of after shaping but it doesn't matter lol.

I saw in one frame in her videos that the acrylics are actually really thin compared to my layers.

So I tried doing it thinner and now I did this long nail in just 2-3 beads.

Do you know how much product I used on mine??

no wonder they look so big and thick.

And the result:

I highly doubt I will use chrome again...

The glitter is EVERYWHERE.

like really, everywhere.

I tried the rhinestone gel for the 3d effect on the ring finger again and this gel is now too thick for it I guess? Or I just need more practice.

I am almost done practicing my piano song.

There was just 4-5 lines left before finishing a whole song.

I practiced in the morning and now I get why that one part was so hard to me.

I had the wrong tones... :/

It sounded wrong in my ears and I am more of a memory/rhythm-kind of player than reading-sheets-player.

I cannot read notes, I memorize them.

It was so hard to memorize, no wonder.

There was this one detail I didn't know about.

When there is a # after a note, that means THE WHOLE LINE has it.

It sounds so much better now.

I have my two days off and guess what...thursday is national holiday so also no work.

It's the second mini vacation before my vacation I get HAHA.

Last week it was a monday, so: sunday, monday, tuesday, wednesday DAY OFF.

I worked three days, had sunday off and worked monday (yesterday.)

Now another three days off, two days work and then vacation for 12 days.

So I will be done working just 8 days in total in 4 weeks technically lmao.

Do I even go to work at that point? lmao.

That's perfect actually, I am getting really sick of my job.

I love the new one in sales but the company has changed a lot and now everything feels weird.

You know when you get the feeling somethings off?

It doesn't feel good, I am not excited for the future.

Even more I dream about doing my own thing.

It starts getting not just a side-thing vision but a main one.

And honestly it's moving along now.

I estimate another two or three months until I can get started.

It's crazy, you start at one point and then you realise: Oh no, I need this too. I need this. I need that.

And from "Technically I have everything" it becomes "I need to prepare more".

I am not sure if I have mentioned it but I ordered a few more things and one package arrived today.

I knew I needed a lamp...but a reaaallly good one this time and I browsed through the shop if I find more I need and put it in as well.

For example I decided to get some more bits than just the ones I currently have where I can change out the grid and threw away the used ones.

My old ones were all not sharp anymore so I threw them away and now I have no bits for detailed work like cuticle or working on gaps.

I have just too many gaps right now.

These would look really cool if they were real.

Tomorrow I am getting a re-fill with my SiL the last time.

I will be telling the news of not going to her anymore.

I definitely wanna try on my own and ordered some cheap lashes again.

When sorting out my bedroom I threw them all away because I thought "I won't be needing it anymore".

I prefer the ones she uses because they are a lot softer, however brutally expensive.

I rather practice with cheap ones first before throwing a bunch of money out the window again.

I will show what kinds I got me then.

I have been practicing doing cappuchino with my frother.

Each one is getting better and better <3

The first couple cups were toooo foamy.

I basically did not have a drink HAHA.

For today I haven't planned much.

I went for a walk with my dog in the morning and cooked lunch for my dad while sorting clothes and putting them in the laundry.

Probably practicing more piano, I am almost done with the one song.

There is just this one line that gets repeated 3 times at the end that feels so off, so I keep hitting the wrong keys xD

quick update

It's sunday, that means not doing anything day. <3

However I didn't keep up with you from the past days.

when I went grocery shopping I saw a selection of pink/gold kitchen tools from paris hilton.

Oh boy I wanted everything so bad haha BUT either I got the stuff already or it is not suitable for the dishwasher.

The only thing I got now is the frother.

I wanted one so bad but the one from my work was actually quite expensive and I didn't see one anywhere else.

This was like 7-8€ if I remember correctly, that's totally OK.

And it's gold, that's dope.

Had no chance to try it yet.

I was able to do ONE selfie tho haha.

One week is over and the braids are still looking good.

However I doubt they will last 4 weeks.

Some are slipping down and I noticed on those that do, the rubbber band snapped.

So maybe the rubberbands were the only thing holding this thing up.

or maybe it is just too much weight idk.

2 weeks, 3 weeks at max I believe but that's good enough I guess.

This is how my fits look like currently.

dress+thin cardigan+sheer socks and my lovely summer shoes.

I am getting a lot of compliments (also about my hair).

People are so surprised I did them myself.

I personally believe you can tell they are self-made but isn't it the nicest compliment when people cannot believe you do stuff yourself?

My eyebrow tint is still on but so subtle I just kept drawing them on lmao.

BUT next time I will probably bleach them before dying.

Because I can guarantee my eyebrows have a different color..

the hairs actually look darker and just the skin subtly the light brown color as intended.

I also ordered a different kind of dye that specifically mentions skin staining, so it might be stronger.

You also don't need to mix it, it's in a foam bottle...so several uses.

I ordered a few more things.

swatch & new nails & brow tint gone wrong

So yes, I had the energy to do all of it.

the swatches, the nails and the brows. 

First of, the brush dilemma.

So guess what, the ones from shein is even better because it is slightly bigger and flatter.

Here a different angle.

Left is lynis, and the right one is from shein.

I actually prefer the one on the right.

Also while swatching I had no problems at all, except when I started using the blush pink.

So I believe it is just this color that is a bit problematic.

I really love rose and peach, extender can look good for autumn I guess.

I chose three different kind of glitters to try how it has to be used and they turned out to need a whole lot more liquid ratio.

Plus, the polishes are so damn good..

Those are just 1 coat each...they are amazing.

I will get these polishes, definitely.

Well I tried doing nails and honestly I just feel so weird having short nails.

But I wanna let them grow and figure out how long I can get them and still play the piano.

First, I found out that round nails are a whole lot better than square ones for playing.

Tbh I fucked up the french a bit..I seriously don't know how far down to go for short nails lmao.

but at the same time I was just sick from filing.

I need to look up how to do almond???

It looks fine from up, but from the side it is super weird xD

I tried the brow tint thing but I believe it is not a good product.

It literally does not properly stain the skin.

I used it once for 10 minutes as described and was terrified it will turn out too dark but it did absolutely nothing.

So I went for another round and left it for 20 minutes xD

It is better than the first but still barely stained.

I believe it will be completely gone by tomorrow xD

But ey, at least I like the idea.

It is easier than I believed.

Oh and the brow wax did not work...as expected.

Wax never works on me.

Next week I will get my lashes done again...there are gaps everywhere.

And then I need to do my own sets I guess.

I still don't know what lashes to get.

baby pool for an adult

Good morning!

The weather has been so nice latelyy, I don't wanna stay iiin and cleaaan or do my nailsss haha

my brother got a big baby pool yesterday from the village shop (last one for just 30 bucks) and I got so excited.

Other people can fit in it too, so I was like "Hold my beer! I am getting dressed".

I put on my bikini and ran back to the garden haha. 

It was so nice to just chill a bit in the water, especially because vacation is canceled.

A cannot go to croatia with me and the plan was to share costs (vacationing is incredibly expensive nowadays). I looked for alternatives but even the cheap steals are still too much for just me to handle rn.

Going to vacation was a spontaneous decision, so I haven't been saving up enough.

So I decided to just leave it this year and just keep saving so maybe next time I am able to go somewhere better.

I really want to go to China, Japan and South Korea (or, just Singapore again, I loved it).

I remember flying to mallorca for 600 (including flight) and now you can't go under 900 no matter the destination. Might as well just save double and go somewhere you really wanna go.

My sister in law saw how I braided my hair on monday, so when she saw the final result yesterday she said it looks great on me.

Also I said it took me until 1am and instantly my brother said "was totally worth it".

That made me happy idk.

My brother usually always complains and finds something that could have been better about absolutely everything. Gratefulness is a term he probably doesn't know but we got used to it.

So him complimenting my hard work like that felt really good.

You know, it is really good then haha.

I glued the tips shut and sealed it in boiling water and now the whole head is not stiff anymore.

Next task will be taking care of it and avoiding itch.

That appeared like a week after, so curious how I will be dealing with it now.

Also I always feel like I am pale af and now being pictured next to my family I am not lmao.

I didn't even properly tan and just went to the beauty mode in the studio.

Makes me wanna tan again ngl haha.

My mind works in mysterious ways.

Well anyway, I will definitely swatch my new products today...not sure if I will do the nails but technically I really should.

I looked up, it has been 4 weeks already..crazy huh.

Also I miss done up nails.
