I used the past days to calm down a bit and just play some mobile games.

I was exhausted from all the furniture planning at work and proceeded TO DO THE SAME THING AT HOME.

I talked to my colleague and she found me a chair with suitable measurements next to my electric chimney and it is not that expensive actually!!

I did not look for furniture at work because many are unaffordable to me or not my taste haha.

But here we are, she found something.

I re-thought everything and I probably will buy furniture at work.

I am not so restricted with the colors too, many furnitures can be customized.

Probably will save me a lot of trouble.

What I will order online though are the pillows..

I need pillows now, the furniture can come bit by bit.

I do not have the money right now anyway lol-

So this is the current assemble.

I might re-think the two beige ones in the back.

It was already a pain matching the sheets with the bed (and there is already a color difference).

If the pillows are another beige I am gonna lose it.

Maybe a very light brown/nude color?

The two games I loved playing the past few days were for one: Tile Explorer.

You know, like the fake mahjong they have everywhere.

You need to match the pieces which are layered on top of each other.

And the second game and I know it will be absolutely nuts having to admit this now:

The task is to design the room where you have like 5-10 pieces in each corner you can choose from and then your design gets out to voting (you can vote yourself as well).

Sometimes I hate the variety you get, especially when there are million different types of woods...I feel like it is impossible to make something actually look good.

Each item you use cost coins or diamonds.

You get some coins after finishing the project or via tasks whatever.

Here I made decision to try to choose as many diamond products as possible LMAO.

It looks really nice, doesn't it? haha

Here another design I did.

My friend visited me yesterday and we played make n break and my hello kitty monopoly.

I successfully made her broke...like always.

It's funny how in these games I always turn rich but in real-life I just don't stop buying shit xD

She always changed her strategy and every time would lose.

At the end of the round she was like: Maybe I should copy your strategy, it seems to work.

Of course it works, it's a capitalist strategy lmao.

I also started reading my furniture book and damn...

That's....intense!!!

I had like only 10-15 pages and my head was burning.

First chapter was just about the human body as a measurement.

I can't even recall everything that was written there.

Did you know that you can use the height of your elbows as a guide to choosing how high your kitchen has to be?

Or to use the shoulders as a guide for chairs?

(for to know how much space you need to calculate between each one at the table)

Two pillow suggestions

Hellow!

So did you know how freaking hard it is to find good pillows? Especially if you need multiple big ones?

Either there wasn't the size I wanted or I absolutely disliked the mix.

So here is what I came up with.

Grok didn't want to play the game properly again, so we have to imagine a bit further. 

That was idea nr.1

The black ones should have been in the middle. It replaced the print on one of the black one.

The two smaller ones also should have been in the middle.

I dislike the pink a bit but idk.

Here are the pillows btw:

The big ones are 60x60cm, the blacks 45x45.

I honestly have no idea about the size of the rose one but it doesn't matter. It's smaller.

So I thought of replacing the pinks with aubergine/plum and then I had to completely replace the sets lmao.

So the arrangement is NUTS.

I had to screenshot cuz it didn't wanna let me download the proper version and it had be edited sm, it's blurry af lmao.

So...obviously everything a lil to the back.

The blanket is supposed to be placed in the middle and not spread out but forget about that...that was too much to ask for lmao

I like version 2 a tad bit more to be honest.

I am not happy with the placement and although I love the red pillow, I believe now it's too bright and a deeper color might be better.

Also, is this carpet not amazing????

At this point I prob will have it all:

Cow, leopard, wolf and white fur.

I worry now if it won't be too much but in the end...I AM TOO MUCH.

I love maximalist interior but always kept it mimimalist with bright colors.

I really need to give it a push haha.

I really like how everything slowly comes together.

What I have noticed on the pictures of maximalist interior is that they match colors yes, they kinda match vibes but everything else is mixed. And it looks great.

So maybe I should not worry too much about it and just add stuff one by one...thats how all these maximalist designers do it lmao.

They start somewhere and just add stuff.

That's also how I do my nails too.

Yes I couldn't wait and ordered individual lashes now LMAO.

I will try it but we will see if it is better.

I am so pale on these pictures and yknow why?

I drank so much sugared coffee on my days off, I had a pimple breakout.

I had to cover them up with concealer now and it made my face hella white haha.

It's insane.

I will probably take out my summer stuff on sunday/monday.

my shift changes starting next week, so I have after saturday another two days off lol.

AND I have a cool idea for my apartment.

I wanted a "bar" or smth but had no space, so I figured putting one in front of the heater but then I have minimal space for everything.

It is not optimal.

I was looking with my colleague for stuff and no matter what I was looking for..it looked like shit lmao.

So I took the measurements home and started thinking.

I will change it completely now HAHA.

So listen up..

THIS...is too much beige right next to the beige daybed.

I will change it to a red one.

I looked for the same type of chair but they had no red color for it.

So I found one like this and let grok add it to the picture.

IT LOOKS SO MUCH BETTER RIGHT??

And it is not too much beige then.

Even the white carpet doesn't bother me anymore because it matches with the wall more or less.

So here is how I shoved my furniture around (it's a bit messy rn):

This is the table I currently have which was right next to the wall.

I got it before the kitchen, so the colors are clashing.

I loved how small and convenient it was, also because each of these chairs have storage room (I love storage A LOT).

Since I have storage under my daybed now, it is not quite necessary anymore.

Well, I have minimal space when visit is over and I might change it completely with something else.

I found this table and these chairs.

I believe the table is a good mix between living room/kitchen and works quite well as a connection.

For the chairs I found super cheap ones in black but that's too dark for my taste, so I opted for greens now.

The whole thing will be a bit bigger in reallife I believe but grok just didn't wanna size it up for me.

It works for the imagination.

I am not sure if you can see in the other pic but on my red couch is my hello kitty pillow in the corner...it marks where the "fridge" for the wine will end, so I have a way through on the left and on the right side and it doesn't clash with the door.

What do you think of this idea?

And then I also still need pillows for my daybed lol.

I re-did the lash look by adding another piece on the upper row.

I removed the eyeliner completely, did aegyo-sal more subtle and straighten my hair..

I LOVE IT NOW

I re-did the lashes again with only the gel glue and now it doesn't hold at all!!

I might have to re-do it again tomorrow...just hope it will last until tomorrow evening.

I really don't know what to do.

I will try again, now only the permanent glue again.

I mean, DIY-lashes (especially clusters) are never meant to last longer than a week anyway.

I just don't want to have to do it DAILY.

Gotta figure out how to do it.

The "problem" with the glue isn't the hold...it's the corners that come off because of the clusters.

I was thinking of getting single lashes and applying them like normal permanent sets..

and just re-filling some of them like a week or two weeks later depending on how many lashes fell off.

BUT that would take a whole lot longer and would have to be able to seperate properly.

I am thinkiiing.

Well anyway, I got new books haha.

Normally I wouldn't have bought new ones, since I still have so many unread ones.

I wanted to get some for learning selling/furniture a bit more.

Why are these type of books so expensive?

I was able to find an interesting one in german that didn't look like interior design but INFORMATIVE.

When it came to the selling books though, I was like nah...I get one in english.

How is it, that these type of books are like 30€+ but similiar ones in english are like 10€ or something.

That's why I decided for "to sell is human" now, it seemed like something I was looking for.

I still have "never split the difference" which I started months ago but then my mood changed (whoops).

Since I was already ordering I thought about getting 1-2 more which are kinda cheap.

I actually opted for another informative one "skin in the game", was a recommendation and I thought why not?

And "no longer human", which was still on my wishlist.

I HOPE..I am able to get back on reading...which I probably will since most other important tasks are done for now and I have thursday/friday/sunday almost completely to my own <3

I actually still go to the tanning studio because I have a contract I can't cancel but I also lean towards being pale again (I cannot decide).

I want to use my contract differently now.

I like going to the sun angel machine, which has just beauty red lights for example.

I want to go now the next weeks and see if it helps with the skin.

There is also a Vitamin-D-program, which just slightly tans the skin.

I will see, I don't want to have to go there every evening and I rather just take the red light lmao.

Since the lashes won't last longer than 3 days anyway I skipped the permanent glue now.

It's easier to take off with the other glue, so if a piece falls off or smth I can take it down and reapply if necessary.

I am using this technique more like a "prepare in the evening - save time in the morning" thing.

Also I realised I can put on lower lashes as well lmaooo.

Idk why I didn't think of it first.

I watched too much xhs yesterday and I am INFLUENCED by these wispy manhwa lash sets.

My eyes are too big for it to work, I had to add a liner or smth but I run out of time.

I kinda like it...I am not sure if it's the hair I dislike or the type of liner but I will try tonight again I guess.

Another cardigan from my mum haha.

I am so close to just getting my summer stuff out of my boxes and y'know why?

It's too warm upstairs anyway and I cannot wear most of my winter stuff.

Might as well get some of the summer stuff out?

At least some skirts or idk.

Some are too bright I guess.

Maybe I should buy some new dresses.

Most of my summer stuff is either PALE (not my color palette) or super bright (not suitable yet).

I try not to buy stuff right now.

How I view money

Today is my day off and nothing special happens but I feel like yapping.

So I thought I talk about how I view finances.

This is not a "How to" or whatever, I just feel like sharing, also because I realised I am pretty lonely with my opinions it seems.

I see online people keep talking about buying investments instead of liabilities and shit. I personally believe many of these so-called gurus just copy and paste what they hear and keep babbling the same stuff. It sounds smart at first but lacks all sort of differentiation.

For example they say buying a house is a liability.

Short-term yes but not in the long-run.

My parents bought a house, paid it off.

Now we are living in a new house and the old one is rented. 

We lived there for 18 years and now it is an additional income source, longterm it's going to be my house when I get married and have kids.

My brother gets the house we currently live in. Either way, we either have a money source or a roof over our heads. In what world is that a liability? Just because of that simple decision of my parents, I have an easy life. 

And they never bought brand-clothing, used old shirts for cleaning, filled soap with water to make it last longer, almost never went out to eat etc.

They sacrificed these things, so we have a great life. They were never rich. That's where many people fail tbh. They view luxuries as necessities and then claim they have no money and everything is expensive.

I am in no position to tell other people how to spend their money and everyone has different priorities of course. That reminds me when I went to Singapore and I saw women with super expensive handbags in the train. I wondered, why buy the bag when you can save money and buy a car instead? Apparently cars are incredibly expensive over there compared to germany and parking/upkeeping is also very different. 

To each their own in this case.

But it's worth giving it a thought before buying: "Is this really necessary or is it worth saving and spending elsewhere?"

I don't have Spotify premium, I listen to ads all the time.

"That's just 11€ per month"..I think that's 132€ per year! When was the last time you looked at something you want that had cost ~100€? I could use that money for something more important. And also, when we were kids it was completely normal while watching TV every 30-45 minutes there was 5-10 minutes ads. We didn't die of it.

When I started making my own money I took track of my spendings with the intention to plan my money monthly better. I actually didn't intend to use it for longterm planning.

But now I was able to. 

I have spent in total 17k for shopping, 12k for beauty!!...as a smoker I've spent 1.500€ on cigarettes (and that were only the packages I did track). That alone is almost 30k, wasted.

I love fashion, I love beauty and to some degree people NEED it...you can't walk around naked.

But when you see these numbers, you ask yourself DO I REALLY NEED IT? and especially THAT MUCH?

I try spending less and less on consumption.

There are a few things where consumption actually benefits, and that's when it comes to skill-based hobbies or experiences.

Which leads me to the topic amortisation, which also gets ignored over and over again from these money-experts. 

I've spent over 1.700€ on nail stuff in total, which sounds a lot at first but broken down, since I started my nails that's around 47€ per month. Going to the nail salon had cost me 75€ every 2-3 week because they didn't last AND I didn't even do the heavy designs yet while going there. Now it costs me every 4-6 month around 20€ or something for new tips, colors, gems. Plus I have learned a new skill that I can use to make money in the future. 

Money-experts would have told me to cut back spending on nails or leave it away completely. I think differently about it.

I am willing to spend money on hobbies, if I know it will teach me something or make me better in the long run.

If you use consumption to your advantage it is not a waste of money.

It benefits your mind and soul. You just need to balance it right.

Hesitate when it won't benefit you in the future, spend money when it will be useful.

That's when scaling matters.

Honestly, I don't listen to reviews from people anymore. Normally it should be that you can use the experience from others to avoid making a mistake on your own. However, people are damn morons sometimes.

The highlight was, when I read a 1-star review about a hotel, where they wrote "It had rained the whole time!!". Oh my lord.

The more you do something, the more gets sold, the more likely a mistake could happen (or the opposite, a good thing will happen).

When a car brand sells 100k cars and 15 broke down, it doesn't mean it is a worse brand than the one who sold 500k cars. The other brand that sold 500k had 80k break down. 

One is 0,015% breaking down, the other is 16%. 

But people keep focusing how that one brand sold "only" 100k cars and 15 had broken down.

Try training looking at the big picture.

If you desire to make your own brand, scaling is a huge skill you need.

Personal example here: One of my colleague managed to make 160k revenue last month, the other 120k.

She works only 2.5 days a week, the other 5 days (fulltime).

If you calculate that up, the part-time woman could make up to 320k if she worked full-time. Yes, it depends on how many people come in and what they want, what the weather is like, what marketing does and sale is never linear anyway. It's only about the potential here.

160k vs. 120k looks great but like not such a big deal. 

320k vs. 120k however truly shows her skill.

Another scenario: Salesman A made 90k and Salesman B made 95k. They look the same. However A started 6 months ago and B works there since 20 years. 

I think you get what I am trying to say.

My card has the setting, that whenever I spend money it rounds up to the next euro and saves the amount into my ETF that I have chosen. 

Which means that for example if I spend 12,99€ on food, 1 cent will be put to the ETF. If I spend 12,50€, that would be 50cent.

So far it had saved 238€ into my ETF, just from rounding up.

Scale people, look at the tiny numbers, round them up, differentiate.

Of course there is more to this topic but I want to keep it short and not write a whole book (maybe some day).

I'd be happy to read about your opinions about this topic. I think this should be discussed way more than it is.

My last set fell off as expected.

I only glued the tips on top of the existing manicure which was too thick anyway and that's why it didn't last as long.

I want to try more "simple" sets with only one or two designs..more hand-drawn stuff as well.

It turned out so cute <3

I didn't have many gems left anymore so the left and right hand have different ones.

left is rosé-champagne and the other is gold-champagne.

I could have waited just one day with my daybed bcuz my sheets arrived.

It was so hard choosing a color...

I decided to go for beige as well to match it the bed, so it looks more like a couch.

I believed if I choose a different color it will turn out too much bed-like again.

But finding a matching color will be a pain in the ass.

I ordered both from shein and the total was around 20€...which is totally fine.

Both next to the bed.

I at first thought the left one would be a better match but when I put it over the matress I didn't like it at all...I think the other looks better.

Plus, I believe when I finally can put pillows on top it will turn out a whole lot better anyway and the slight color difference won't be too noticeable.

I need the ribbon-things to make it stretch better.

It was nearly impossible to find a sheet for a tiny mattress like that.

Most said "up to 30cm"...mine is only 15, because the company from the bed said 15-17cm maximum.

I believe it has something to do with the mechanic from the storage space.

Also, I am not sure if I have mentioned yesterday, I decided to keep my chair.

I just put it to the side to make space for the daybed and look how cozy it looks right next to the chimney.

I also finally have a better idea for my shelves.. I need to tidy them up anyway..

They turned out to be storage for all types of things now xD

I have room for that under my daybed now.

All I am missing are the final information for my ideas AND money xD

since I stopped shopping like crazy I luckily have more left over for that.

I wanted to do it crossed with decoration...I believe I will opt for plants instead.

BUT it will be more functional (edible) and I need some kind of indoor greenhouse type of things to make it work but then again I need to be able to plug it to electricity somehow.

AND these type of greenhouse-pots or whatever they r called are not exactly cheap as well.

I probably will change the carpet...beige/beige/black-red and inbetween a sharp white makes my eyes crawl.

and blablablabla of course haha.

daybed almost complete

First my hair and outfit yesterday <3

I later opened my bangs but they were too curly in the morning.

Guess what...I put the daybed in my living room now.

The sheets haven't arrived yet but I put a blanket on top now so I can use it.

Honestly, the LEDs look really cool and I can change settings too...but I probably won't use it.

This setting definitely needs a bunch of pillows!!

The position is awesome to watch TV ngl HAHA

Now I can finally load my phone here and put my glasses somewhere.

I am so comfy here...I might just fall asleep here rn haha.

I have to go the post office tomorrow morning..I had ppl buy stuff all at once and they all chose different post services..ah well...

A blessing and curse together..I am surprised I found so many boxes..

I have to get new boxes first before I can put out more clothes for sale or else I get a bunch of ppl buying it again and cannot ship it.

I am also thinking of redesigning my bedroom soon but then I definitely need money first...I probably will have to wait until february next year until my kitchen is paid off..then the money is not so tight.

I think of getting chicken...it sounds insane but it turns out to be not such a bad idea after all.

I found a small shed with fence and roof that could fit in front of my apartment just fine..and chicken are not so expensive it seems...my whole family could benefit from this but I need to research this topic more. I never had chicken and it sounds so easy over text but I am sure there is smth about it.

It's almost the end of the month already it's insane...it's 19th today!!

time flies...we just had new years eve yesterday what the hell..

Mel just commented on one of my old posts and it just shows why I kept them...the progress is amazing to look at.

Especially considering nail art!!

Today.

Great reminder to keep going :D

But guess what...I also tried collecting the layouts over time.

This is how I actually started...HILARIOUS.

I gave it a lil glittery makeover...inspired by pink and a little bit ageha.

After that I had my hime phase (phase number one?). This was during halloween.

And then I had my ageha-kei/rokku-phase where I actually loved wearing agejo more than hime/himekaji.

I gave this one a makeover every now and then, for example I got tanner and went more towards kuro but I believe soon after I slowly detached from the community and from the style and went offline.

And when I reappeared I saved this design.

I wasn't quite sure what to do, because I kinda resurrected my blog from the dead and just re-did some parts of the layout so it wasn't coherent.

And then I wore more girly/lolita-inspired clothing and matched it a bit more but still kinda disliked it tbh.

And then I did my ageha-inspired reiwa-gyaru layout and honestly this was one of the best.

Again I changed it over time to halloween design or different background etc.

and when I stopped wearing gyaru again I changed some parts of the layout which weren't coherent in my opinion.

Now we are here.

I am in love with my current layout ngl.

For today I wanted to relax and read a book again maybe.

Later in the evening I might get visit over but it's not sure yet.
