update&yesstyle haul

Heya!

This week I met with my friend for lunch.

We tried a new place we haven't heard about before.

The food was very nice!

I felt like getting a dessert..

It was so delicious but it made me super full!!

She also gave me a gift for my birthday, we haven't met since then.

So cute of her!

I have been dying to try out these, well, kinda extreme lashes that I had gotten myself a while ago.

I wasn't sure how they would look and I was too curious, so I experimented a bit in the evening before washing off my meiku.

The left eye was my favourite and the lashes actually look bomb!

Also it reminded me, I still have this unfinished wig.

It looks so good, I just can't properly put my hair underneath.

Maybe the cap is too small? but at the same time it's not?

Maybe I need to sew the rubber band on and it will fix it, idk.

I actually finally ordered new lenses and guess what:

I could actually control myself to just get one pair.

Yes, one pair only.

I usually only wear the same pair, so it makes sense not to get many but I can never decide which ones turn out to be my favourite.

Well this time I actually decided for one and if I dislike them, THEN I will order others.

I will show you which of the ones I have shown weeks ago I picked now.

But today my Yesstyle order arrived.

Yes, I got the Vicrea stuff now haha.

The oil is sooooo damn good, I just had to.

Technically my current stuff is still pretty full, I probably won't be able to test it soon, maybe not even this year but since I wanted to order my favourite lipstick and some cleansing oil, I figured to just throw it in now.

They also sent this facial mask as a gift.

I wanted to order Romand Juicy Lasting Tint #20 Dark Coconut because mine is empty.

I ACTUALLY EMPTIED A LIPGLOSS THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE.

That's crazy, Swatches below.

I also got two more, in a reddish shape...I just really like red tones.

According to the map they are also WARM red tones,....and deep.

And two Aegyo-sal pens by 2aN, never heard of that brand before.

Here also, the map says it's warm and the colors looked like something that suits me.

I could never make Aegyo-sal work for me but after doing the "sick angel" kind of meiku, I noticed I just used the wrong colors.

Since I still had some budget left, I put in some more lashes but they can be applied without glue (which sounds awesome but I haven't tried something like this before).

And of course my cleansing oil by Skin1004...kinda my favourite skincare brand, really.

Top: #20 Dark Coconut

Middle: #22 Dotori Bomb

Bottom: #17 Berry Red

Dark Coconut is a brown lip tint with a gloss finish and I love love love using it on top of other tints, to make them warmer and deeper. No matter which I use, put Dark Coconut on top and it will look flawless.

At first I wasn't sure if I had Dotori Bomb but I figured it can't be because it's red and I didn't have one like that, turns out the color I do have is Eat Dotori, which is a more brownish/orange-kind of shade and Dotori Bomb is a new color apparently, and red.

On this list I had Apple Brown, Eat Dotori and Dark Coconut, and another color but I am not sure which it was, I rarely use it and honestly I don't want to get up and check lol.

Since I am more a Warm Autumn kind of color-type, I figured, get the Dotori Bomb as well.

For Etude, which is also a great lipstick, I picked Berry Red.

I have pretty much every color of this damn liptint and since I wanted to get one more, I went for this, because well...red.

Usually my favourite is Soft Walnut and they look pretty similiar, just in different tones.

Berry Red looks a bit cooler.

Top: #02 Bebe Pink

Bottom: #04 Rosy Candy

So beige/rosy kind of colors look good on me, so I opted for these colors.

At first I wasn't sure but felt like picking Taro Bunny but according to this map it's on the cooler side and to just try out the product I guess two warmer shades will be good.

And guess what, ITS WATERPROOF.

Or almost, I went to wash my arm and the glitter didn't wash off, I had to rub it off...which sounds awesome btw.

I am so excited to try out my new products, since applied on the face they just seem different then.

another joybuy haul

 Heya,

Oops I did it again...

So I  guess it will be a regular thing ordering from Joybuy but only the things that run empty I guess.

I was thinking of buying in bulk at first but the shipping is so damn fast and most of my bottles are still kinda full, so I guess I will just order something when I need something.

First was this Set of Pastaplates...I normally don't use regular plates, so I figured to get more of these...however they are actually quite big..Ooops.

I also ordered some more chopsticks...because I only have 2 wooden pairs.

These are made out of steel and actually square...so stuff is easier to pick up.

Some more household stuff...Don't ask me why I ordered 8 pack of dishwasher salt...I guess I don't need to buy more in a while lmao...

I also was thinking since a long time to get wet wipes and these are actually flushable which was my biggest worry.

3 bottles of Soju (strawberry is a re-buy because it was so good).

Also proper tteok to make tteokbokki and Bai Jia Noodles to try.

A bunch of mochis because it's my most favourite snack.

The ones from Bamboo House are incredibly good.

Also Nori as snacks lmao haha.

No judging here: I really want to try chicken feet but because there are no fresh ones sold here (at least haven't found any place yet) I want to try with a snack first.

I actually really used to love these ready-to-eat meat snacks.

I also got melon seeds because I was curious but disliked it a lot haha but gave it to my parents, they absolutely love nuts and semetschki (sunflower seeds).

I gave a pack to my dad and when I went around the corner all I could hear was him munching them haha...guess he really likes it.

On top is Taro powder, because I love Taro very much and it's literally nowhere to be bought here.

First Night I immediately tried creamy gochugaru Teokbokki <3

Another meal I tried...tasty Salmon...it almost looks like meat but it isn't.

(Rice below haha)

I also tried a recipe for Sanbeiji, although at first I was hesitant when I heard 15-20 whole garlic cloves but loved it a lot.

Today I tried my Taro powder and it's the best!!

I need to prepare Taro and cool it in the fridge, because I think it taste better cold and now I did a hot beverage with foam milk, which is super delicious but cold just hits a bit better.

home gets cozier

Heya!

So the rest of my furniture came and I wanted to blog but then had no time to blog..

So NOW...

First: my new chair for my beauty studio..

I want to get a similiar one but as an office chair but it's not a priority for now..

It fits in so much better than the huge beige one.

The huge one is in the corner now.

And my new couch came..

So the whole plan was to have like a cozy corner on the bottom of the room.

I spent hours browsing different dining tables and constellations and no matter which I found, everything was too big, or idk..

And then I found module couches and no lie, even though you can combine them differently, the others were also too big...this was the only match.

I had hoped to get a black one but they only had dark grey or green,orange...

so beige it is again...and luckily it matches my bed.

This was the idea I had in mind, with a lower table.

At first I wanted to get a Kotatsu but they didn't have the measurements I wanted and honestly, I know myself, I probably won't use the kotatsu the way it should have been.

 

The couch was vacuumed, so it needs a couple hours until it bounces back fully and my colleague joked that the couch looks like paper...lmaooo.

It looks better now but yea,...

And a day later the couchtable arrived...which my dad accidentally broke assembling it.

One of the wood "plates" got damaged by the wrong screw( in the picture bottom right, the plate next to the black one is missing)...those instruction manuals were so difficult to read. I wanted to assemble it on my own but failed at step 1.

Good to have a dad haha..

He told me he would just glue the damaged part and it's not visible if you don't know.

It's already fixed but I don't have a picture of it.

My mum disliked it haha...she pretended to struggle so hard to get down and how she is supposed to eat there when she is invited.

The thing is...my parents never come over (maybe like once a year)...AND I saw her crawling on the floor, playing with my niece..I know for sure she was just acting as it was terrible just because she is not used to it.

After a few days I can say it was 100% the correct decision...I love this constellation.

I love how I have a space but it doesn't seem like it's in the way..

Now I need a carpet for underneath...also to prevent it from slipping too much.

I am not sure yet but I thought taking some of these puzzle carpets I bet you have seen them plenty already as well...I just don't know which color.

I have seen the same kind but with fur...which is also kinda cool..but I feel like it will be too much.

Oh and my bed...also super duper cozy...I love these sheets.

Next expensive thing: a new laundry machine, but with a dryer.

I don't use a dryer that much, because I believe it damages the clothes BUT my space is getting smaller and I really really don't want to run into my laundry rack anymore.

It's basically in the background of any selfie I posted lmao.

Now in the summer it's on my balcony which was amazing btw...but it is getting colder now, rainier...that means summer is over...it's only a matter of weeks until it's impossible to dry clothes outside.

I probably will order it in like the middle of the month, so it arrives when I am at home after the surgery, so I can choose the assembly date as well.

(Or I let my dad do it again lmao.)

I also received some nail stuff.

I need to stop buying more stuff before receiving clients.

It's so much work and although I work only part-time I still feel like I don't have time to take clients after all? I barely manage to do the preparations. 

The longer it takes me the more insecure I feel about starting at all.

So to relieve my stress I try to view it as a hobby now..

I got some molds to be able to make more gems..

As you can see on the left, the small detailed things break though...it is impossible to make them...

the bigger ones like bows and crosses though...amazing feature.

I need to pre-make some though because it takes longer than I thought it would.

I just picked a random nail I had to try it out and geez...this is the cleanest blend I ever had.

I will never ever ever use polish or colorgel for ombre again.

or will I?

because after a million years...yes..

I ordered an airbrush..

I haven't used it yet, also because it....kinda scares me.

It's probably easier than it seems but I definitely will watch a video or two before I put polishes in there I will never get cleaned again lmao.

What else is to say?

lots...but idk.

Two recipes I tried again turned out wayyy better this time.

Jiaozi and the Dan Dan Mian.

The dough for the Jiaozi was way better and now doing the sauce for Dan Dan in a bowl instead of in the pan (I was so used putting everything in the pan, that I didn't know this was an option).

It turned out both very delicious.

I am motivated to do more...I will try the recipe for the Tangyuan, maybe next week?

Also probably, when at the end of the month I am at home, I will prepare more stuff, like i.e. more Jiaozi, some Bao and maybe even fishcake.

After surgery I will be home for a week, I won't be able to eat anything solid but have enough time to prepare and freeze that stuff..(makes sense right?).

Well, I try to blog more but life is busy currently.

Sweet dreams

 Heyaa!

So yesterday my topper for my bed arrived - YAY!

Just in case I did not mentioned or whatever.

So originally I planned this as my couch but due to using my old bedroom as a studio now, I am using it as my real bed....and the mattress was too hard.

However, it was brand new so I didn't want to change it right away and instead fix it using a topper.

I didn't want to order a cheap one online, because the possibility that it will also be super hard was really high.

So I tried a few at my workplace and decided for one.

And yesterday it finally arrived :D

I figured to let one of my bed sheets on the mattress on the bottom to help reduce the slippage.

But that's also not quite necessary because the topper has rubber at the bottom to keep it at place.

Normally you use bed sheets seperately but I decided since the matress on the bottom is so small, to use bedsheets all over.

I also decided for the same brand pillow.

The big pillows I have are more or less decoration at this point lmao.

I also really liked the pillow at work from the same material and the other butterfly pillow turned out to be too hard (why am I so picky now).

I chose a black/pink-theme now for my bed to find a middle between my black kitchen+piano and the red couch I have.

I also am planning more changes in the future, so I felt like this is a good middle ground.

My two pillows used to be 80x80cm but since they are quite old, they are not fluffy anymore and I figured if I push it into the smaller sheets they will still fit...and yes I was right lmao.

Not 5 minutes later I was done and the sun was gone lmao.

My "real" pillow is hidden underneath the blanket lmao.

I really like sleeping "higher" now.

It's so super cozy...I hope it stays that way...I did feel like it took away some of my pains in the legs.

My first night was great.

The next couple days my other stuff arrives..I am already excited.

I hope it all turns out the way I planned.

Opera La Bohéme

 Heyaa!

So as promised the post on sunday.

At lunch me and my brother celebrated out birthdays with our families and pieces of Pizzas.

I tried preparing myself as much as possible because later on I have to get dressed - for the opera!

I was hoping to go again for YEARS and finally someone, A. agreed to go with me.

I got a little gift basket from my brother.

Some of these products were interesting to me before but because I rarely shop locally, I never tried them.

So it's gonna be the first time now :D

My parents asked me to show myself to them before I leave AND THEY STARTED PHOTOSHOOTING THEMSELVES WITH ME..

Yea I get it now...the outfit is awesome.

I was worried that I might be too overdressed but I think I fit in.

I mean yea, some people did look at me intensely, but so did I lmao.

It was interesting to see different kind of outfits really.

We were actually really lucky!

Quite in the beginning the male singer lost his voice - I didn't quite exactly understand what was wrong with him but he couldn't sing anymore.

However, there was another male opera singer in the audience that offered to sing for him.

So we could still see La Bohéme.

Filming and taking pictures is actually a no-go but A. was able to make a short clip.

A. liked it a lot and is willing to go again <3

So this year it probably won't work because neither I really have time, nor does he.

But we checked the calendar for the next year and there are a few concerts that sound interesting to us :)

Well, I am exhausted so I go to bed.

Happy Birthday to me!

Good morning!

So today I am up very early again, so I have to blog now haha.

Last tuesday it was my birthday!

In the morning I was so excited to go for a walk with my dog and get fresh air and when picking him up at my parents apartment I noticed he was already gone.

I totally forgot that my dad has holidays, so he's home.

I could text him and we met in the village.

He had to do some stuff at his workplace anyways, so I took Chita and walked with him through the woods.

I never walked this direction, it was strange but nice to have a change of scenery.

The whole day was calming, I don't like having stressful days just because there is an event, or celebration or whatever.

So I often decide for my birthdays to relax.

However, I really wanted to go out eating so I invited my parents to my favourite restaurant.

This week I tried different lashes and I really like the look.

These lashes go sideways, so I picked a black liner aagain with few eyeshadow colors etc.

It's a more natural look but I like it!

I picked my faovurite meal with the lamb.

My dad had the fish...

And my mum couldn't decide so I picked Poke bowl for her and we tried from each other and her Poke bowl was really delicious...I might have to order this some time for myself too.

Everytime I go I want to go for desserts but A. or J. never join...but my parents did this time!

I desperately wanted to try the matcha ice cream some time and there it is!

It's sooo damn delicious..

My mum took the baked ice.

The days inbetween has been...fast.

I had a doctors appointment, where we discussed my surgery.

I am getting my wisdom teeth removed at the end of september.

I also quickly went to pick up some cleaner at work for my kitchen stove.

In comparance to it, my own is a total joke.

I always used to scrub this thing and never really got it clean.

This cleaner however, you spray it on and just wipe it and it looks like new.

I also went to my "auntie" (not relative) to ask if she can shorten my dress for this sunday.

And since I was in town, I visited my grandparents for a quick coffee.

The other day Josi came to model her nails aand...omg so much more happened.

idk anymore at this point.

Someone mentioned this online shop to me, called Joybuy.

Technically it is like Aliexpress kinda, but more like a supermarket.

And I noticed that some of the asian ingredients I had ordered, are a lot cheaper over there.

So I wanted to order there as well (more variety as well).

It already arrived here like 2 days later...that's amazing.

So don't laugh...I ordered a whole box of instant noodles.

30 packages for just 12€!!!

Imagine you need a quick meal...or don't want to cook in the evenings.

I have plenty supply for a good price.

I chose the beef flavour haha.

They packed everything very nice!

So here is what I ordered:

It was late last night so I took only an overall pic.

So on the left bottom are two wines. One is a standard for cooking and the other is Shaoxing, I wasn't sure wether to take which one but decided to try both to see if there is a big difference in taste.

Chatgpt said hua taio shaoxing doesn't have to be used for cooking, so the other might have been a better choice but it tastes better.

I saw Shaoxing in a couple recipes so I chose it.

Then a big bottle of peanut oil, since I prefer cooking with it and we only have expensive and small bottles here locally.

On the left top I have new bowls...A 6 pack of pink bowls by Jiwoo for like 6€...they are so pretty.

A different brand of Dashi, I really love using it for cooking!

and then...accidentally, 1,8kg!!! of Dandan-noodles.

They did not have proper noodles here but for some reason while shopping I couldn't process how much it was..

I saw "1,8kg" and my brain doesn't do the click...it's so much lmao.

In the middle are some of these jelly snacks that I wanted to try out (zero calories...hmm).

I want to use it for work...to fill me up, so I can go longer without a break.

On the bottom a flour for a recipe I want to try.

Hoisinsauce and two bottles of Soju. I never tried Soju and I am curious.

On the top right duck eggs...curious as well.

and then a bunch of different mochis.

Mochis are pretty much the only snack I like eating lmao.
