Hello..
So a lil update...it was quite a ride yesterday.
I stood the whole day in the bathroom again.
So here is the problem: While I was working on the roots, I accidentally caught the already bleached part where simply the red pigments are...the middle root obviously didn't develop as fast as the roots where it benefits from the heat of the scalp.
Other than that, using 20 vol for bleach worked a whole lot better tbh...
So I tried going on with a second round of bleach *just* on the golden part..
I was verrryy careful...I think a little too careful actually..
So this was the aftermath...as you can see I have all sorts of shades in it.
However I really didn't want to use bleach again and decided to just slap the color on and see what the result will be...then I know what to work with.
Again: I mixed two parts 9.1 and one part 9.3 with a ratio of 1:1 with 20 vol. again.
The bottle of volume was empty after that and I had enough of dye.
I mixed it generously but took orientation with the box dyes I usually use.
The ash (9.1) was actually too strong and the 20 vol. just made this whole thing go super dark.
this is why I have greens in my hair now and all sorts of colors.
my bedroom light is like: Don't look at it, it's fine! lmaoo
However, I was thinking hard of what to do next and if I should bleach or not or idkkk..
I looked through my pictures how I did it with the blonde and although I used bleach a couple times...inbetween the hair got lighter without doing anything with it.
like for example the last time I dyed my hair before my singapore trip, the tone was almost completely gone after a week already.
So I think instead of trying to fix it with bleach or idk, I will try stripping it from the pigments more thoroughly, so the red pigments are mostly gone...now the lengths had too much of them still inside to properly work.
So this is how it looks like under natural light, right next to the window.
The green is less visible at day actually.
What I will do is, I will put an oil mask tonight.
This will nourish it and strips away pigments that are still laying on the surface, hoping it catches some of the green.
Over the weeks I will do the vitamin c mask more often but just on the lengths below the white stripe I think. I don't mind the roots beeing a different color then...it would actually look better I think if the lengths got lighter more quickly over time.
And then 4-6 weeks later when it is time to bleach the roots again we will see what we are working with then.
I probably won't try this mix again..I think I will go more for a neutral or warm blonde and mix just a little ash in it to matte it a little bit. Also I am thinking of doing the color with a 10 vol. instead next time. This mix is just too dark and too ashy..I actually prefer it more warm..
Some dayyyy....I will find my perfect shade lmao.

Wow! I'm stressed just reading that. But it's so awesome that you know what to do. I would have been crying on my way to my hairdresser XD
返信削除I had some help over discord...most of the time it's that I use the radical way out (just more bleach) lmao but rn I really need to stop that, or else I will end up bald again. Also it's that I never can determine my level correctly...it can be super light but because it has these yellowy pigments in it, I always think it is too dark.
