Day 7: Day in Penang

So, some of students were worried that we won't see much while our stay there so decided to go on our own a lil bit earlier in the day, it was 6 of us who went to do some more things in the morning.

The view out of the hotel right next to the lifts is so good.

First, we went to the flying mosque...I didn't know we would go there, so I wasn't clothed appropiately tbh but they had cover-ups there luckily.

The view was breathtaking!

We looked like we belong to a cult lmao.

That bird was a star lmao..everyone was filming it..
It looked really pretty tbh

We then left to go to the both temples that are right across each other.

So, temple 1:

aand 2:

These scales are absolutely gorgeous!

We then went back to the hotel to catch up with the others for our trip to the Escape park.

I couldn't take many pictures there because for the dry activities I left my phone in the locker.

For the waterslide ride I wanted to film it and specifically bought the watercase for it.

The watershoes and the case together were just 12€!! T.T

SOOO CHEAAAPPP.

(unfortunately can't upload because the video is too long :(...will try cutting it maybe and edit later).

Femke was sitting in the front because she is smaller and I asked her to film it.

The park has the longest zipline and the longest waterslide in the world.

We we were sliding 4 minutes in total...it's insane!!

I honestly expected it to be quicker but it was very calming and slow.

After we were done in the Park we went back to the hotel to quickly freshen up.

I was using the hotel shampoo and I wish I didn't.

It left my hair sooo frizzy and dryyy...I was putting so much conditioner on top to like "save it"...but it didn't quite work unfortunately.

We headed straight to town to eat dinner.

Arthur recommended a good dine-in where the cooks are in front of you but they had limited space and that's why it was a long waiting time so many of the other wanted to go to a different place.

I waited since I wasn't that hungry and then we could go in like a couple minutes later.

I poured my own egg and it fell :(((

The food was sooo good, and I was able to try from the others too a bit.

The food from the restaurants in Malaysia is really good.

We then headed to the bar..

I randomly chose a drink and look how pretty this was!!

Friedrich caught the picture really well.

The cocktail was called Counting Stars...Tie Guan Yin infused Kao Liang, Yuzu, Grapefruit, Lychee, Citrus and Rose...

I had no idea so I was just like...let's try! Mostly because drinks like this don't exist in germany.

The taste was also really good.

The bar had written on the menu that when you leave a 5 star review you get a free shot xD

3 people were doing it and one was the guide, she didn't want the shot so she gave it to me.

The alcohol here in asia is so weak, it tasted like drinking juice.

It was already almost midnight and I didn't really have anyone to talk to, so I joined some who wanted to call the grab back to the hotel.

  1. Absolutely gorgeous photos! I really love that video of the dragon with the mirror scales! It's so amazing to be in a place where everything is an architectural masterpiece. At least to me lol
